Motorola CLIQ : Can't Make It Vibrate Upon Recieving A Text
Sep 6, 2010I have to new Motorola and I cannot make it vibrate when I recieve a text, so I have to keep looking down at it, this makes it very inconvenient.

Motorola CLIQ :: Not Recieving App Notifictions
Jul 1, 2010I'm new here, new to forums period, but I thought I would give this a shot. I have the tmobile cliq, have had it for about half the year now and I am quite pleased with it. Now on to my problem. I use Facebook a lot. Probably like 10 times a day at least just to look through status updates. I originally had my notifications set to email me on the phone when I'd get a notification, which was working fine, except for the whole yahoo takes 15 mins to refresh for new email checking thing. So i decided, well. Okay, I'll just set it to not email me, and text me instead. So I was getting text messages every time I got a friend request, wall post, comment, message, anything. i was really pleased with this because I'd be getting my notifications instantly. About a week ago this changed, I started to get less and less notifications via text.I would have to physically go into the app and then see that i had ten or so notifications, which should have all been texted to me. This is upsetting! Does anyone else have this problem, or know why this is happening? I actually remember this happening with my blackberry curve previously as well, after a while I wuold stop getting notifications, and I don't know if its the phone or if Tmobile just sucks. I tried unchecking all the notifications on facebook, saving the changes, then resetting my phone, turning it on, and re-checking the notifications sent via text option, for about an hour I was getting a few notifications as soon as I'd post something, but then poof it stopped again.Please let me know if you have this problem and have found a solution or have spoken to anyone in customer service at tmobile and theyve told you there are some kind of outtages.

Now I'm not sure if this is true or not but I heard that motorola officially announced this. Jan 14, 2010I am using an unlocked Cliq on AT&T network. All my data works fine, but I'm having trouble with text messages. Normal texts come and go fine it seems, but I'm unable to send picture messages. I assume I'm also unable to receive picture messages, though I haven't specifically tested that. The bigger problem is a random text I keep getting. It comes from 11-216-116-11, and always says the same thing, "error invalid number please re-send using a valid 10 digit mobile number or valid short code." They always come in threes, and I always get them when I reboot the phone or sometimes they come randomly. Can anybody help with these issues?

1) My ringer, when someone calls me, starts off quiet for a few seconds then goes to full volume. The ringtone I have doesn't do that by itself, it must be a setting. Is there a way to make it ring full volume as soon as someone calls me?

Jan 21, 2010I was wondering if anyone was able to get their T-Mobile/Motorola Cliq to work on T-Mobile's basic data plan? They now have a specific Android data plan. I can't believe that they raised the data and unlimited text message plan to cost $45/mo. in total for Android phones! I'm using the $19.99 unlimited data/messaging plan now and would like to continue to use it. If anyone has successfully done this, please let me know how you did it.
