I just purchased a Motorola Cliq XT and have a question about the desktop icon management. Specifically, I was wondering if there was a way to disable the vibrate when moving desktop icons to the trash, or around the desktop, or from the app list to the desktop, etc.

How do you move an icon in application menu from one screen to another? I know I can rearrange icons by clicking menu button then edit, but I can't move an icon from one screen to another. The same goes in application menu and in home menu.

I'm kind of doubtful, but a search did not return an answer. It would certainly clean up the home screen. Plus a lot of labels are "cut off" due to length and that is just annoying.

Hi everyone! I got my Cliq this morning, and so far I LOVE it.I am an ebook junkie, and I was wondering if there is a way to install the books I now have on my pc (and my HP Ipaq) over to my Cliq. Worst case I read 'em on the HP, (like my mobipocket books, until they come out with a reader for android!) but I'd REALLY like to move them over.

It's awesome, but I have a problem with the icons, especifically the VIDEO icon, I move it to one place, and after I download an app or move another icon it moves itself to the last page of icons. This happens like twice a day. I also have a folder with 27 icons, did a battery pull and the folder was empty and all the icons where roaming different pages.
View 1 Replies View Relatedon the droid x, i found this to be VERY simple. press and hold the icon, then once it is unmounted slide to left of right. once the green "highlight" appears on that side, the sscreen moves as well as the icon.i had the original droid and dont think it was this easy, though im not sure i ever tried.

Is there a way to change the settings of the phone book just to list my gmail phone number and addresses without having to sort the contacts every time? Also is there a way to delete contacts on your phone without having to delete them on myspace, facebook, etc?

Is it possible to enable/disable action bar icons? The scenario is that on the action bar there are two search icons, but they do different jobs, one searches the contents of the app while the other filters the listview (searches the table of contents only).
