View 2 RepliesAnyone know of any apps or media players that have a sound equalizer? Speakers on my Motorola Cliq aren't great and at full volume the speakers pop because of the bass on some songs. Equalizer would be great so I can turn the bass down as the Cliqs speakers cant handle it.

View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I added a bunch of songs to my phone for listening in work, I noticed a huge chunk of them got lumped together in a folder "unknown artist/unknown album". The common factor was they all ended up with a track number before each song title. I have always been a stickler for removing track numbers when working with my MP3s, so any idea what may be triggering this phenomenon? I went back and verified some of the culprit tracks in iTunes and no where in any setting, was there a track number associated with the song name.

I'm looking for a media player that supports some kind of lossless.
Are there any stand alone eq apps or good media players with an eq for the Android as I could not find any in the app store? I also simply typed in eq into the search here and it came back with nothing.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI should have posted this here instead of over in apps. i know the "best MP3 player" debate has been beaten to death, but i want to know whick player does the best job at randomizing your playlists? I have a large collection on my 16g card and mixzing still likes to stick to one or two albums ... the only things i need are great random (i like to shuffle all my songs and let it play) and a album cover and forward, backward, pause buttons like mixzings ..

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Droid Incredible, and I have music stored on both the phone and the SD card. Meridian and Cubed only read the music that's on the SD card, and while the music player that came with the phone reads both, it can't play FLAC or apple lossless files (DoubleTwist does neither). Is there any way to either reconfigure Meridian or Cubed, is there anyway to get the music player that came with the phone to play those formats, or is there some other player that reads all the data AND plays those formats.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been using doubleTwist to sync & manage my music on my HTC EVO 4G (and Palm Pre) and I've had just about enough of its slow iTunes syncing, slow device syncing and overall clunkiness (yes, I'm a previous user of the iPod/iTunes and Zune/Zune Software systems). Though I love the doubleTwist player for Android I'm done with doubleTwist. And no I'm not interested in Salling Media Sync (especially since its not free).
If I manage things myself by manually syncing/copying music to my Android (i.e., artist/album/ folder structure under /sdcard/music/):
[1] Where do I place the playlists (in .m3u format)?: /sdcard/music/playlists OR /sdcard/music/playlist1.m3u, playlist2.m3u, etc.
[2] what Android players are compatible with this format/structure (i.e., that'll pick up the playlists just fine)?
This is technically a Win7 question, but much related to Android. On my older Android devices, when connected to PC via USB for file transfer, they would "mount" the SD card as a standard disk drive within Windows. On my newer Android devices, however, they instead connect the device to Windows as a "portable media player." This is fine, except for one thing which really irks me. Every time the portable media player director structure comes up, it is displayed as giant icons. If I change it to "list" or "detail" view within Windows, there are two big problems:
- it doesn't stick (i.e. I'll reconnect later and it will be back to giant icon view)
- it doesn't apply recursively to all subfolders
With regular Win7 file explorer (i.e. for disk drives), it is really easy to set a default folder view for all disk drives on the whole system, and it will stick forever, and apply to all subfolders on every drive. Is it possible to do the same thing with portable media players?
I'm loving my x10 but am peaved that I can't play dixv and avi files on it are there any decent FREE (important) media players that I can use?

My HTC Desire seems to have stopped singing the "tik tik" sound (the sound when you clicked on any program).
In Settings -> Sound Settings -> Feedback
I have them all checked, but for some odd reason, I still didn't get the sound.
I have the calendar that app that comes on the HTC desire, however I was wondering if there was a better app for scheduling work hours/school hours/projects/appointments.
View 4 Replies View RelatedThere are so many good readers out there. It seems that none of them have it all. I think Laputa makes reading fun,in my opinion is the best reader on the market.
This app has changed my relationship with my phone. It is amazing, a must have for avid readers.
Download and read thousands of books right on your Android phone. Anywhere. Anytime.
The page animation is unlike any other page animation - the page actually rolls WITH your finger as you push it across the screen; other page flipping readers have a very fake looking flip compared to this ones
I'm really surprised and disappointed by the lack of podcast apps out there, especially for videos. I don't want to pay for Doggcatcher, but all the free ones are very poor apparently and don't do a good job. I use Google Listen for my audio podcasts, and even tho it isn't great it is does the business. However I can't view any video podcasts with ease or without having to download them first. Does anyone know of any at all? or of any that are in development?

View 3 Replies View RelatedWould any1 be able to reccomend some good media players for the eris? Ive been playing with the stock MP3 player, and likes the way it intergrates with the lock screen, but I find that it repeats lots of songs while in shuffle mode on playlists ><. I tried a few of the Meridian and Mixzing players, and really don't like the interfaces, and Intergration into the lock screen is a major + for me which neiither of these have. I guess what i'm looking for is something to replace my ipod 30GB (4th Gen?) thats slowly showing its age. That was the most user friendly, functional music player ive ever used.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI swear I can't find a decent media player that works on 2.2. I don't care for the stock player that much. I want a player that just monitors one folder on my SD card that I can designate. I tried MixZing, but it does this stupid thing where it monitors what I play and tries to play similar stuff from my library. I skip a song and I end up seeing the same song I heard 3 songs ago. It's frustrating. I don't want that feature. Any suggestions on what media play will work best for me? I had bTunes, but it's buggy on 2.2 and it would seem that the developer has no plans to update the app any time soon.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm sure this subject has been beat to death, but I was bored earlier this evening and decided to do some experimentation. I was interested in finding a good program with which to sync play lists, music, pictures, movies, etc. As it turns out, Media GO works really well. I have been using it as my default music player for some time now because of the "Sense Me" play list option. I'm still pretty new here and I hadn't seen anything posted regarding this program and it's INC compatibility.

2 - Any way to delete "remembered" words? For example, when I text people and I type "You?" it always defaults to "Yiy?" instead. It's really annoying!
3 - Is Better Keyboard any good? I love the default qwerty keyboard, but I have a few minor problems with it. The spacebar isn't big enough, I often accidentally hit the period button, for example. Just basically want one that's the same as the default but with a larger spacebar.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have an Atrix 4G, but my internal speaker is blown...I have to use the speakerphone speaker in calls. Which I can deal with; what I'm looking for is a mod or app that will allow me to play my music, videos, and any streaming media via the speakerphone speaker as well. Currently, none of the individual apps allow for an option to do this.
