View 2 Replies View RelatedThis time I wanted to play some media , a WMV file, from FOXDIGITALCOPY, and it seems Xperia doesnt support it - atleast that's what the FOXDIGITALCOPY software tells me when I tried to sync up the media from my PC.
Also, this file doesnt even show up on the mediascape screen though I copied into the videos folder where other videos are saved.
I tried to play a more smaller and simpler file - the wildlife HD video sample from Windows - which is again a WMV file.
This time, Xperia tries to play it, but the video only comes up as stills while the audio plays as normal.
the technician i asked told me to install mediago from sony ericsson website. I did so, but nth is happening.
View 8 Replies View Relatedlove my new x10,beautifully.conquered most probs. but i use sky mobile TV, had it on n97 and worked lush. the x10 seems to de scale it small and stream it in 3gp making it look uguly and distorted on the large screen. laso noticed their no media settings to play with. same with youtube on t-mobile and beep player,and yango, all the streams seem to be limited and the phone not showing the full asspects of the streamed videos.does anyone have any tips or use mobile TV?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI got the X10 2 or 3 weeks ago, previous phone was a Samsung Jet. I watch quite a few films but so far I can't get the quality. The files are mainly divx encoded but I have been converting to mpeg4 to play them in Mediascape. The video is skipping / jumping even though it is not at a super-high resolution, bitrate etc. Does anyone know what the best settings are to get video that's watchable? The Jet would play divx files no problem at all and I assumed the X10 would be at least as good...

View 3 Replies View RelatedI tried to send my wife a copy of a picture using Bluetooth yesterday, by going to the picture, pressing the left button (the one with 4 squares).Somehow, it gave my wife access to all the files on my phone.That didn't matter, insofar as there was nothing on it I didn't mind her seeing (though I don't think she expected quite so many pictures of Lucy Liu! ) but I wonder if anyone knows what I might have done wrong?Or, perhaps, the phone is set up in such a way that you have to be sure to trust someone completely before sending information by Bluetooth?If it helps, I'll try to recreate what happened later, but if anyone knows off-hand what I might have done and how it ought to be done differently.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI raised over and over to your Accredited Service Centers here in the Philippines namely MemoXpress and Semicon. I already escalated a lot of issues but they were not able to fix all of it and they just replaced my phone with new Xperia X2 phone not just once but twice. Unfortunately, some issues are still open and haven't fixed yet. See issues and recreational steps below.
1. Backlight is ON even the phone is turned OFF. Keep open any media file (i.e. picture, video, so on) >> Turn the phone off >> Backlight is still on
2. Battery is drained when the battery is removed and inserted it again. Turn the phone on >> Turn it off >> Remove battery >> Insert battery >> Turn the phone on >> Battery is drained..................
I initially synced with Media Go and all of my music transferred, but now that I have made some changes on Media Go, I don't know how to make them transfer to my phone. I connect my phone to the computer, and my phone shows up as a F: drive device. I am used to iTunes and there being a Sync button.

They are saved on my SD card an i have put my old SD card into the phone and have found my music files using mediascape... however i don't know how to take them from the SD card an store them on the phones memory so i can put my new&bigger SD card into the phone. Does this make sense?

The problem I have is films only play as tiny thumbnails, about 1 x 1.5 inch.
I've transferred by drag and drop and via media to go, even tried setting defaults, but to no avail.
I've figured out most things with my phone but not this.
It's really infuriating as I've bought a phone for it's big screen only to watch small sized clips.
New Sony Ericson Experia Mini. Bluetooth will detsct other phones and pair. Now the problem is this. When the phones visibility is on (form a poxy 120 secs) no other phone in my house can find it or send it any files etc. Is there a general problem with bluetooth on this phone that i am unaware of?
