Sep 27, 2010I'm having trouble finding an app that I had. I was playing about with multi con and cleared my home screen but then tried to get them all back and the only one I'm having trouble with is anycut i can't find it on the market the app symbol was a musical note (a cleff I think its called) it let me make playlists and put them in the shortcut.

Dec 5, 2009Is there a quick way to adjust the media volume without having to launch a media app? The rocker defaults to ringer, but since I like to use the voice search button a lot it is extremely irritating when the connection error bong or success bong blasts so loud. seems like those should be tied in with the ringer vol/vib control not media volume. I looked for a volume control app or widget to go with the buzzlock and ring profile icons i have unnecessarily taking up space, but i couldn't find one that looked like it fit the bill and worked on Droid.

Mine always has a lot of stuff running that I don't use (e.g. Corporate Calendar and Voice Dialing) and I would like to keep these apps from starting at all. Even when I kill them with the task killer they automatically open back up at some point. I'm just concerned about battery usage.

Mar 18, 2010I want to control the Media Player on my Nexus One from my PC. This is exactly the opposite of what is done by GMote. This will let me keep my Nexus One connected with speakers from my PC and still play songs on it. Searched a while in Google and XDA, but couldn't find one.

Feb 2, 2010There's an app called DroidShuffle which allows you to control your music playback from your wired headset. You can custom set singe click, double click, triple click, and long click to either pause, skip to the next track, go to the previous track, switch to shuffle, or seek ahead a bit. Also, when using your wired headset in a call, this app allows you to end the call with a long click. I haven't seen any mention of this free app and thought a lot people would like to know.

Apr 6, 2014The volume buttons/rocker on my phone does not allow me to change to media only. If no media is playing it only changes the ringer volume.
Imagine this setting, in my car I have volume all the way up, I get out of car and put on headphones, volume is too loud. I ether play music to where my ears bust or I go into settings and change the volume there. When I try to turn it down immediately, it changes the ringer until I let that volume display disappear. Which means I'm stuck listening to it too loud until I let it disappear to where I can change the media volume.
My little rant is over, how do I force the volume buttons to only be media!

Nov 11, 2009Anyone know of any apps or media players that have a sound equalizer? Speakers on my Motorola Cliq aren't great and at full volume the speakers pop because of the bass on some songs. Equalizer would be great so I can turn the bass down as the Cliqs speakers cant handle it.

Aug 10, 2010I have a fair amouint of music by a chap called Lightning Hopkins, but he is called Lightnin' Hopkins on some of my music. Does anyone know if there is an way of changing the names so that they are consistent and show up as the same artist on Mediacape? I tried changing the name on Windows Media Player, deleting the music under the original name and re-adding it to my phone, but Lightning' refuses to be known as Lightning. It shows up properly on MediaGo, but doesn't show up properly on the phone.

Apr 7, 2011I have an app that was installed via Android Market. And so, the Android Market knows when new versions are out and notifies me of an update. Titanium Backup calls this the 'Market Link', not sure what else it could be called.
how would I go about 'disconnecting' the app from the Market? Deleting the market link as if it were side-loaded?

Sep 28, 2010Yesterday, I noticed that the Social Networking app was not updating. I couldn't find any setting to sync it manually, so I figured maybe a factory reset would do the trick. So....after I did the reset, I noticed that none of my apps were downloading. They all said "downloading" but nothing was happening. So I ended up just restoring from a nandroid backup I did before the reset. Im glad to say that the Social Networking is updating now, but apps are still not downloading . I went to settings/applications/market and cleared the data and rebooted. Still nothing.

There are some apps that I cannot find in the market that use to be there in 1.5, whats with that?.. although there are some apps in the 2.1 market that are there that never were there in 1.5, like bluetooth file sharing app, Torque bluetooth vehicle engine diagnostics, etc.Looking for skype in the market, it's nowhere to be found from what I seen on the vzw moto - Droid commercial, it's suppose to be there. Sep 23, 2010My installed apps aren't showing up in the downloads section of the market. Yet if I search for them in the market it says they are installed and I am able to update them. I read that installing a new app somehow refreshes the list so I tried that but didn't help. Tried the market doctor in TiBu that didn't work either. So then clicked restore all apps and after that didn't work I went as far as to wipe my phone and reflash my rom and restored my apps again with TiBu, still nothing.

Nov 1, 2010I'm running BB v.05 w/ Chevy no 1 ulowV 1.0Ghz Whenever I switch batteries or restart my phone, a lot of my apps need updating (updates that have already been downloaded). Also, Beautiful Widgets and the southpark photohunter (something a friend tried to download for a reason unknown) are in a constant state of downloading. When I try to cancel the downloads, market simply offers the "Sorry! the application market (process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly. please try again." pop up.Along with those problems, I tend to get a security update change notification at least 2 or 3 times for the email application (not the google one) every time I restart my phone.After searching forums the first day I encountered these problems (when I got the bb update) I decided to just ignore the problems until people had time on their own with their new setup.
