Sep 27, 2010I'm having trouble finding an app that I had. I was playing about with multi con and cleared my home screen but then tried to get them all back and the only one I'm having trouble with is anycut i can't find it on the market the app symbol was a musical note (a cleff I think its called) it let me make playlists and put them in the shortcut.

General example, which I understand:
content://com.lily.provider/items/ab
What I want to do: my key is a string with "/" content://com.lily.provider/items/a/b where a/b is the item id, which is in the same position as ab. will content://com.lily.provider/items/a/b be matched to content://com.lily.provider/items/* ? why is that? are there any work-around I could use to solve the problem

Aug 10, 2010I have a fair amouint of music by a chap called Lightning Hopkins, but he is called Lightnin' Hopkins on some of my music. Does anyone know if there is an way of changing the names so that they are consistent and show up as the same artist on Mediacape? I tried changing the name on Windows Media Player, deleting the music under the original name and re-adding it to my phone, but Lightning' refuses to be known as Lightning. It shows up properly on MediaGo, but doesn't show up properly on the phone.

Jul 2, 2010I'm considering getting a new mobile device, and this will definitely influence my decision about whether to go Android or Windows 7 (mobile).
I really like onenote because I can handwrite my notes- and so i remember them better than when I type them. I can also select my text with the lasso (or even individual strokes with a click!) and move it around, in case I don't leave enough room or something.
Anyway, I'm looking for an app for android that lets me take advantage of a stylus and take notes in multiple colors, and be able to select and move/resize my text. I'd LIKE (but could do without) to be able to sync to my desktop and add pictures or text or whatever- basically what i can do with onenote. However, I haven't found a comprehensive application for android, and I may go with the windows device, just so that I can use onenote (but the performance scares me a bit- android is really snappy!). I wouldn't mind paying for the app. <$100-150
I already checked out the web apps version of onenote, but it doesn't do handwriting.
Anyone know if an app like this exists, or is in development?

New notes can be added at the top of the main screen or use your phones menu to Add a new note, Search previous notes, add a labels and establish your settings.
In Settings you can change things like the color of the notepad, font, font size, set up reminders, export and import notes to/from your SD card and more.

Feb 7, 2014I rooted my Verizon device using TWRP.
Should I just wait and sideload KK when it becomes available (assuming that I don't need to upgrade with what's currently available and want to wait until the Verizon/US version gets out)?
Or should I unroot back to stock first and OTA it?
Or can I simply reinstall my stock ROM in recovery and OTA?
I used to have Save Root. It worked like a charm for my Motorola devices. Does this work between updates as well? Do we know yet if there will be a way to save root when upgrading?

Nov 19, 2013Never had any problems, but just today, my phone just shut off. When it shut off, it kept vibrating, just small pulses over and over until I took the battery out. When it shut off, it had 100% battery, so I put the battery back in hoping it would turn back on. The samsung logo/boot screen came up, then it just shut off. It does this repeatedly. I tried putting it into recovery so I can reset it, but it doesn't boot into recovery or download mode.
Strange things: Whenever I hold down the volume down key, it does the vibrating pulse thing until i take my finger off it. And when it's on the charger, it does the vibrating thing the whole time until I unplug it, even if the battery isn't in it.

Jan 20, 2013i am having problems with my call log on my galaxy note 2 from at&t. some of my calls are showing up and some are not. for example the calls to and from my wife today are showing up but the ones from my father today are not and calls to and from a number yesterday that is not in a my contact list from yesterday is not showing up at all. i have the view set to "all calls".
