Apr 2, 2010Just got the Milestone a few days ago. Couldn't find similar problems when searching. Having issues with taking Widescreen images. Take a look at the very right side, there is a small strip that's out of place. Actually, this strip is part of the image that should be on the LEFT side of the image instead. Doesn't happen when taking 4:3 5MP picture. Compressed the images, but you can see it below when zoomed. Anyone know what the deal is? Just a small but slightly annoying issue.

Apr 7, 2010after downloading my movie, i put it through the tune4mac converter to convert to mp4. movie plays fine but the quality is extremely low and it seems to be stuck in widescreen. Anyone know of another converter i could use that would put it out in a little higher quality and possibly with the option to remove widescreen?

Sep 8, 2010I purchased Vignette Camera because I liked the edits. However, I noticed there is no option to take widescreen photos (takes up the whole screen of the Droid X) like the stock Camera app. I can take a photo with Camera first, then import it in the other app, but that's just more work. Any other options or apps out there?

Jun 13, 2010Does anyone else have a VERY loose wall charger? Last night I plugged in my EVO and went to bed but this morning, I woke up and found that the wall charger was sticking ever so slightly out of the socket and it didn't charge one bit. For me, the wall charger will pull out with very little force and won't charge when it sticks out of the wall even a little bit.

Jun 22, 2010I have noticed that while charging my EVO using the stock wall charger and any micro usb cable that there is a loud whining noise. It is pretty loud and can even hear it while watching TV. I have read that the Droid Incredible charger has the same issue as well and have tried to switch the prong orientatoin and still no luck. I have used my other HTC charger that I have from my old Touch Diamond and don't hear any type of noise. I have read that it is the capacitors in the charger making the noise. I have tested and the charger still makes the noise after the green LED light has come on.

Jun 23, 2010So I normally use the HTC wall charger but left it at home and grabbed a Plantronics wall charger that came w/ my bluetooth. It's micro usb and everything, 5.0v output, etc. I plug it in, and the battery goes from red to green w/ a lightning bolt, but the green is moving to simulate charging. and a pop-up keeps telling me i'm at 12%. So, will other chargers not work on this thing?

Jun 6, 2010Does anyone else have issues with the phone not recognizing the wall charger that comes with the phone? Every now and then mine will stop charging and say my charger isn't compatible. I've tried different outlets thinking that might be it, but it's not making a difference. It works most of the time, but will stop charging in the middle of the night which leaves me with little battery in the morning.

Oct 5, 2010Just this morning I plugged my phone into the wall charger and it froze up everything. Eventually the phone reboots, but after it finishes booting it freezes again and the whole process repeats indefinitely. If I charge it from a usb port it works fine. I searched around but haven't seen anyone else with this issue. Any insight or suggestions would be great. CM6.0 w/King's #2 kernel UPDATE EDIT: It's now doing it even if I use the usb port method. Getting pretty fed up with this thing, it had been working flawlessly with this romkernel combo for a week before this.

HTC EVO 4G :: Can't Make Whole Picture Your Wall Paper
Jul 18, 2010Is it me or is it impossible to make a picture from the gallery your wall paper in its full glory? they let you crop it but i cant figure out a way to make the full picture my wall paper. When you do crop it, it then zooms in on the section you cropped to make it fit the screen. If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know.

Jun 19, 2010What do you guys prefer? i have found some amazing home screen set ups, mine stinks i have the live aquarium which is cool but hten the standard clock/weather and a few widgets. i have beautiful widgets but i dont find it to be that great. anyways, what wallpaper do u guys generally prefer. i havent found many great live wps but i also havent found a site with good normal wps either, relative to the stuff people who have sick home screens have. also, for my normal wps that i download, they come out super expanded on my home screen. i got the joker/dark knight wp and it comes up expanded on my home screen, same with other wps i pick despite the 640x480 set up.

Mar 6, 2012S moy Optimus V doesn't have much space on it and the Facebook app is relatively large so I don't have it installed. Every once in a while I see something I want to take a picture of and post it to facebook. Are there any apps that will allow me to do this without having the actual facebook app installed?
I know there are websites that you can hook into your facebook account to post things without going to the FB website but I'm not sure of any apps that might work in the same way.

Sep 30, 2010I noticed my phone has stopped being charged by the wall charger. Not to sure why this is. I tried several different outlets in my house and it wouldn't charge. I then used the same cable and plugged it up to my computer and it charges with no problem. My car charger cable works too. Any ideas why the wall charger would want to stop working all the sudden? Its not the cable because like I said I have it charging via my computer.

Apr 23, 2010At work everyone has an ipod/iphone so we commonly share the same Apple wall charger (I have an ipod.. it was a gift and is soon to be sold). Obviously Apple uses there proprietary charger as far as plugging into the device itself but the wall charger itself just uses a standard USB. My question is, can I connect the Incredible's USB cable to the Apple wall charger and successfully charge the phone without any repercussions? I'd like to avoid having to take my charger to work everyday (not allowed to connect devices to our highly monitored computers).

HTC Incredible :: Taking Picture For Wall Paper
May 1, 2010Why is it When I take a picture with the phone camera it wont put the picture up as wall paper in its original size format. It blows it up really big or wants me to re size it what am I doing wrong. All I want is the picture to look like I took it on the home screen.

I click it and it looks like it tries to send me to the m.facebook.com mobile site... except every time I click a picture, I get the following error: "The page you requested cannot be displayed right now. It may be temporarily unavailable, the link you clicked on may be broken or expired, or you may not have permission to view this page." I have had my DInc for two days now, and have not yet been able to view photos that are published to my news feed! And it's not just my cousin's photos, it's any photos on the news feed... even ones I post!
