I have a month old galaxy s4 and I can't get it to stop synching my pictures. I have it turned off through the g+ app but every time I take a new picture it goes the the "photos" app.

I have always used dropbox and enjoyed using the auto upload picture feature. Well since I have been moving over to drive I am being almost forced to give up dropbox. I am annoying that with my Windows PC that the even the full size auto upload to G+ doesnt show up in drive. Its a completely separate animal. It uploads to G+ but what If i want to use that pic on, lets say facebook, I guess I have to download it to my computer then upload it? since it doesnt just go into a drive folder? any way to make it just go into a drive folder? or what they use to auto upload pics?

Example:If I type: "whatismyandrioidversion.com" into a txt/sms chat using hangouts, the string is spell checked and auto corrected to "what is my android version.com".
So, then I have to go through a very annoying process of deleting the spaces between each word and fixing the url before I send the message.
I'm having trouble uploading pictures I've taken on my DX to facebook through the "Quick Upload" option.I got a few uploaded, so I know it works, but now everytime I try, the status bad fills up all the way to "Uploading 100%" then it stalls before giving me the error "Can't send response now.Try again later."I've tried turning Wi-Fi on or off, but on both Wi-Fi and 3G it's not working.Thoughts?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've updated my galaxy grand-duos android from 4.1.2 to 4.2.2..I have had some problems at first..including apps problems every application started crashing..so uninstalled and reinstalled them again & they worked just fine.I still have a problem with one app, which is instagram.Since I updated my android , I cant upload pictures on instagram anymore except for the pictures that were on the phone before the update.I tried uninstalling & reinstalling instagram many time & nothing happened.

View 14 Replies View RelatedUsually when I want to upload pictures to my computer I hook up my phone via USB cord and transfer them, that way I can edit them and what not. Lately though, every time I try to go into my "DCIM" folder (aka Camera Pictures) to transfer them my Windows Explorer freezes up and I basically can't do anything to transfer my pictures. I have dropped my phone in water but this was a few months ago and every thing else has seemed fine so far. Could it possibly be the SD card?

I created an SD CARD image and used that with the emulator. I know one image exists in /sdcard/media. I copied it using an image manipulation tool (winimage). And, I can see the image when I use the command "ls / sdcard/media" in the terminal application of the phone.

my Galaxy S4. My service is through Sprint and all apps and system updates are done. While I understand the latest system update has a lot of problems, the one issue I have had has been going on for quite some time. My music player autostarts. The player I am referring to is the 'MUSIC' app (the one where the icon looks like a blue circle and has a green musical note on it.) The trigger seems to be when I get calls from a blocked number. My company's outgoing calls are automatically blocked so each time I get a call from a coworker my phone launches into whatever song I last played instead of ringing. It doesn't matter if the phone was muted - the volume is on so everyone gets to hear the latest tune. Along with the unexpected musical interlude, I don't get any indication of the incoming call.

I was almost shocked to see that they STILL haven't added the 'auto fit messages' option like Gmail has. How can Android be so far along and still not have this extremely basic option? I know a few 3rd party email clients support this, but it seems crazy to me that they didn't do this.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have the google drive application on my desktop so that I store all my files both on my pc and in the cloud, but is there a way to have google drive on my phone and to automatically upload pictures I take using the phones camera but not to have all my files downloaded and synced to my phone as I don't need to have all my files in three places, is there a way of using my phone to view all of my files and possibly download them as if they were on my phone but not actually have them sitting there taking up all my space
so it would be like having the gallery I currently have and being able to view all my photos pretty much as normal but instead it is all stored online

So I accidentally deleted my DCIM folder on my phone through Android File Transfer and it deleted all my photos. I understand that I probably can't get them back, but the thing is, now if I take a picture, I can't see it! When I go in photos it just says "Media not found. (Google Nexus 5)

I see options in the language and keyboard settings when I connect a physical keyboard, for auto-replace, auto-capitalization, and auto-punctuation. However, they appear to have no effect with either of my devices or either of my keyboards. Are these settings broken in KitKat 4.4.2?
View 1 Replies View Relatednoticed something weird with KitKat, and confirmed this on two different phones (Nexus 5 and Moto G but running latest KitKat 4.4.2). On occasion (not every time) the phone seems to auto dial someone after you've ended a call with someone else.
My wife reported the problem first with her Moto G. At first I thought she might just be accidentally hitting a button after calling someone (this is her first smart phone and first touch screen phone) but it's happened several times for her. Final catch was today when I clearly had it happen to me (it also appears it may have happened before once or twice on my phone). I had called someone using my bluetooth in my car, at the end of the call I pushed the hangup button on the steering wheel, and the call ended. Then my wife picked up the phone to call another person and we both noticed it was calling some other friend of ours (that I had txt'd with maybe 2 hours before). It had just started calling this person for no reason. We quickly ended the call (hopefully it didn't bug them), but wow is that annoying.
It seems to happen every once in a while right after hanging up with another call. It seems to call someone in either your recent call or txt history. I'm not sure what might trigger it as it doesn't happen every time, and I'm not sure what number it chooses to call (though it does appear to be someone you recently called or txt'd).
