Just got my HTC Desire. I've finally got HTC Sync working. How do I upload photos from my phone to my PC? I dont want to share them on the web. I just need to get them from my phone onto my PC (Windows Vista) I cant believe I cant figure out how to upload a picture!!

I'm having trouble uploading pictures I've taken on my DX to facebook through the "Quick Upload" option.I got a few uploaded, so I know it works, but now everytime I try, the status bad fills up all the way to "Uploading 100%" then it stalls before giving me the error "Can't send response now.Try again later."I've tried turning Wi-Fi on or off, but on both Wi-Fi and 3G it's not working.Thoughts?

View 11 Replies View RelatedI've updated my galaxy grand-duos android from 4.1.2 to 4.2.2..I have had some problems at first..including apps problems every application started crashing..so uninstalled and reinstalled them again & they worked just fine.I still have a problem with one app, which is instagram.Since I updated my android , I cant upload pictures on instagram anymore except for the pictures that were on the phone before the update.I tried uninstalling & reinstalling instagram many time & nothing happened.

After uploading several pics to "my T-mobile album" and after emailing them to myself, I notice the pictures are pretty small, 480x360.. no where near what I expected from 5 megapixels (and yes, I have the option set at 5mp). What can I do to take larger sized pictures?
Possibly unrelated, I use the stock USB cable to plug in the phone. The phone will charge, but my Macbook does not recognize anything as being plugged in, so I cannot manually browse around to upload my photos. What gives?
Ok its my 1st post and Ive just bought my 1st smart phone. I'm amazed and what it can do... And I'm also a COMPLETE IDIOT as to what it can and cannot do! I have my wallpapers on the desire now no problems there... Now I want to ADD a live wallpaper or screensaver to my phone. I do things the simple way I connected my phone to my pc (not sync) waited for autoplay and opened up the sd card and added (by making new folders) my ringtones, pictures, videos and wallpapers all work perfectly... and I'm very happy! NOW I have my football team gif that I want to run on my phone in the background just like a live wallpaper... I downloaded the gif from a website that said it was a screensaver for my HTC Desire! I cant find the live wallpaper folder at all (where the built in live wallpapers are) in order to add my gif to it... I made a second folder and called it live wallpaper 1st and then screensaver and in both cases it does see the file but will only let me add the gif as a wallpaper image and not a moving image/screensaver/live wallpaper. Do I need to convert it from a gif to something else.
View 3 Replies View RelatedUsually when I want to upload pictures to my computer I hook up my phone via USB cord and transfer them, that way I can edit them and what not. Lately though, every time I try to go into my "DCIM" folder (aka Camera Pictures) to transfer them my Windows Explorer freezes up and I basically can't do anything to transfer my pictures. I have dropped my phone in water but this was a few months ago and every thing else has seemed fine so far. Could it possibly be the SD card?

I have always used dropbox and enjoyed using the auto upload picture feature. Well since I have been moving over to drive I am being almost forced to give up dropbox. I am annoying that with my Windows PC that the even the full size auto upload to G+ doesnt show up in drive. Its a completely separate animal. It uploads to G+ but what If i want to use that pic on, lets say facebook, I guess I have to download it to my computer then upload it? since it doesnt just go into a drive folder? any way to make it just go into a drive folder? or what they use to auto upload pics?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am trying to make an application which will upload pictures to a website. I need to let the user browse through the pictures they want to upload and select them. However, when I try to use the MediaStore I always get an empty cursor.
I created an SD CARD image and used that with the emulator. I know one image exists in /sdcard/media. I copied it using an image manipulation tool (winimage). And, I can see the image when I use the command "ls / sdcard/media" in the terminal application of the phone.

Coming from an iPhone I guess I was spoiled because the facebook app for Android sucks! Friend Stream is a little better but you can't upload pictures and don't' get notifications. Just wondering if there is anything better out there?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have the google drive application on my desktop so that I store all my files both on my pc and in the cloud, but is there a way to have google drive on my phone and to automatically upload pictures I take using the phones camera but not to have all my files downloaded and synced to my phone as I don't need to have all my files in three places, is there a way of using my phone to view all of my files and possibly download them as if they were on my phone but not actually have them sitting there taking up all my space
so it would be like having the gallery I currently have and being able to view all my photos pretty much as normal but instead it is all stored online
when I say files I only mean photos and videos.

Even though it shows full signal I lose calls halfway through people try calling me only to get my answer phone but phone is next to me showing full signal. If I try and use the internet it won't upload pages unless I put wi-fi on. It's not where I live as husband on same network and his phone is fine. What should do.

View 4 Replies View Related1.When I try to upload a video from my phone to Youtube it says that I can't upload files bigger than 1gig. The file I am trying to upload is only 124 mb. So what is the problem? (it was recorded in 720) I had to download some crappy 3pg to avi converter so that I could upload it.
2. My second question, is why is it so choppy? Here is video of my 14 month old son eating a lime for the first time. Sadly, the video cuts in and out. Played like this right after the recording on the phone.
I would like to transfer pictures from my desire to laptop with usb. I can see the desire on my laptop but cannot see my pictures. I can see the pictures that came with the desire on the laptop.
