Does anyone know how to get Flickr added to the Auto Upload "Add A New Place?"Currently, I have MySpace, YouTube, Photobucket, and Facebook, but I have a Flickr Pro account and would like to be able to just upload to my account there.
Any ideas? It's rather frustrating to have the others, but not Flickr - and not have the ability to add others (that I can see/find).

How to stop Flickr from running in the phone and how to bring it back after disabling the app? I installed Flickr on my Droid Rezound. I didnt know it was already on the phone. I installed the Google Play version on top of the already installed version on my phone. I tested it out and decided not to keep it. I uninstalled the Google version and found the app was still trying to upload photos. Did some searching in the phone and disabled the phone version. After that it still tries to upload the photos. I signed out of Yahoo and Flickr and it still tries to upload. It's not that I care if the pics upload, but when I've taken lots of pics the upload gobbles battery life.

View 6 Replies View RelatedJust bought this sprint samsung moment a few weeks ago, and I was wondering why I can't upload mobile pics from my phone to facebook. I have the facebook app on my phone and it does not seem to let me upload mobile pic's. In order for me to upload pic's I have to go to the mobile version of facebook and upload the pic via some email wich then post the pic for u, but the problem is it seems to post my pic's side ways.
I know lots of folks with other phones some of them crappy that just click on the photo and select upload to facebook....why can't I do that on this phone? Why does this phone not give me the option to upload from the pic? Why does the facebook app FOR android not let me upload photo's?

No matter how paragraph�s length is, it will always auto fit to the screen to read, even I zoom in, it will still fit perfectly to the screen, so no need to use finger to keep moving left and right to read the whole article
But today, all of sudden, it doesn�t do that any more, do you guys have the same problem? And do you know how to fix this? I read a lot on my phone and it was so cool it did that auto fit thing, even iphone doesn�t do that but I have tried restarted the phone, all the settings but can�t find anything.
Does anyone know if android has an autotext feature where I can auto correct words. Former bb users should know what I'm talking about.
View 8 Replies View RelatedOriginally, when I got my Moment, I had it set up to Auto-Sync my Gmail, Contacts and Calendar. I noticed (especially when managing contacts on my phone) that when I made any changes to a contact, the auto-sync would begin, in turn, freezing up the whole contact app/module. It would freeze for about 30 seconds until the sync was complete.
This would also happen with the Gmail app. So I turned off auto-sync a couple weeks ago, and every time I go into Gmail, I just go to Menu, Refresh. But it's a pain when I get a call saying, "Hey, did you get my email?". So I'm thinking of using IMAP for Gmail now, but I'd rather find out if anyone else is having this issue, or if there's a workaround.

View 15 Replies View RelatedI have always used dropbox and enjoyed using the auto upload picture feature. Well since I have been moving over to drive I am being almost forced to give up dropbox. I am annoying that with my Windows PC that the even the full size auto upload to G+ doesnt show up in drive. Its a completely separate animal. It uploads to G+ but what If i want to use that pic on, lets say facebook, I guess I have to download it to my computer then upload it? since it doesnt just go into a drive folder? any way to make it just go into a drive folder? or what they use to auto upload pics?

Most of them are pretty obvious but there are a few I'm not sure of. Does anyone have a comprehensive list of services/processes/etc. that we can safely kill off and/or set for auto-kill/disable at startup? Edit: One I was curious about is Google Partner Setup. I have killed it off without any issues through Task Panel. But would having it on the auto-kill list be OK?

I would love to try out the Samsung Moment, but don't have the $$ to just go out and buy one.My hero comes with all it had when new, plus I have an extra battery for it I will add to the deal. This hero has only been used for about a week, and while using it, it "lived" in my Blackberry Tour holster to give it maximum protection. Don't get me wrong, webOS is clean and has a lot of potential, but for now...lacking would be a good (albeit understated) word to describe it. I want to jump the Pre ship for the Samsung Moment, but one thing I keep reading about the Moment is bothering me - everyone says it doesn't have multi-touch. However, I recently read that multi-touch is something Android doesn't yet support. This knowledge was previously unbeknownst to me since I haven't used an Android device since the G1 first launched. Since the Moment uses a standard Android build, the OS wouldn't allow multi-touch even if the phone were capable of it. So my question is: Does anyone know whether or not the Moment is capable of multi-touch? If it's simple a shortcoming of Android, I can deal with it since I know Android 2.0 should finally support it.

I'm having trouble uploading pictures I've taken on my DX to facebook through the "Quick Upload" option.I got a few uploaded, so I know it works, but now everytime I try, the status bad fills up all the way to "Uploading 100%" then it stalls before giving me the error "Can't send response now.Try again later."I've tried turning Wi-Fi on or off, but on both Wi-Fi and 3G it's not working.Thoughts?

When I launch Navigation, I'm given four methods of choosing a location: "Speak Destination", "Type Destination", "Go home", and "Map". Clicking on "Map" brings me to a map view (cool)... which doesn't actually let me select a destination (WTF). Is this bug present only in Jelly Bean? I can't believe it wouldn't have been caught earlier otherwise.
Oh, launching Maps and long-pressing on a point allows me to select it and set it as a destination for Navigation. Ironic that this functionality is missing from Navigation itself.
Is there a fix for this, or is Maps the only way to select a destination by clicking on a map?
I have an Samsung galaxy tab 2 P3113 (rooted) and running CM 10. 4.2.2 JB, I've been trying to download a 6 GB file and it always goes to internal storage (5 GB) so it can't download there, I got an extsdcard (32 GB} and I've tried to direct download it there.. That launches navigation but with destination not found. I tried too to launch:
processName, packageName with startIntent with com.google.android.apps.maps,
com.google.android.apps.maps:driveabout and

with no success too :/

I can't seem to figure out how to do this on the DROID.Even though it is still a bit buggy (beta and all),I love the application, but I have noticed that specific addresses can be off by a block or two.I would like to be able to tell the phone that the correct position of this address is here.
