I installed Open Home this week on my Hero running 1.5. I can't seem to put any of the stock widgets on my Open Home screens. Maybe I'm doing something very stupid, which wouldn't surprise me, but is it possible to use the stock calendar or music widgets?

Recently started trying out ADW and LauncherPro, and the one thing Ive noticed is that when I add a widget/app to a page I can no longer seem to get it to fullscreen like it came stock.
On my sense layout, the calendar is a full page display of the month, whereas now when I try to add it it shows up as a small 2x2 notepad date that I have to click to get to the full month. Its the same with the stock music player. I small widget compared to the near fullscreen one Ive been used to.
I'm looking for widgets that could occupy my last screen.I have already used HTc stock widgets that I like, plus Astrid tasks widget and extended controls 1x4 widget.hopefully something functional, cool and/or interactive widgets that are 1x4, 2x4, 4x4 or any large one.

Anyone know if there is a way to have multiple calendar widgets using google calendar? I would like to have a "work" calendar showing only has the days I work so that when in "month" view that's all that's in view.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just installed Launcher Pro Beta, and am trying to "flavor" up my EVO. I really used the stock sense widgets that toggled 4g, wifi, BT, etc, but am unable to find them with the new home launcher. Am i unable to use the previously installed default widgets with this launcher/home? How about the default weather/clock combo, i can't seem to find a way to add it either. I liked the simple look of the Launcher Pro icons along the bottom, that's all i really wanted changed.

Okay so I've moved from Sense to launcherPro. Very happy with it, but I REALLY miss the FULL screen widgets that you get with sense.
I used to have the full screen Music App, the Photo App, Bookmarks, and Contacts taking up some of the sense screens. Now I have 3 blank screens in LP that I want to fill up.
Do you guys know of any full screen Apps/Widgets for Music, Photos, Bookmarks, and Contacts?
Does anyone have any insight on how or even if this could be done. I don't see why it couldn't be done but from what I see it seems pretty locked up and I have nooo idea how to get into it.

I've seen most of the standard ones and nothing quite does it for me. Saw one on a blog the other day that had a turntable on the bottom and album art on top - was perfect but was an idiot and didn't bookmark it now I can't find it.

View 8 Replies View RelatedIn 2.1 my calendar is only showing back to July 12 depute there being several years of data prior to that. Entries made in the phone do not show up in Google. Entries manually made now, say 7/4 (prior to the 'cutoff' I am seeing in the calendar app) appear immediately in the phone. Any ideas why I am missing all this data? I've tried re-syncing w/ no luck.

View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen I make a 'phone only' appointment, and set a reminder, the reminder goes off, and so does the actual appointment. Fine.
However, when I make a 'phone only' appointment, with NO reminder, I'm not alerted to the actual appointment that I made. Absolutely nothing.
Is this 'by design', which I very much doubt, or a possible flaw in the application itself?
The stock calendar on my Dinc is acting up. When I add an event and want to edit it at a later date it often will not let me change the date and/or time. It also mysteriously duplicates the event at times. Also when I open my calendar and search for an event it will always show the event as listed the day before the actual event.

Delete Event
Share vCalendar
Agenda
But no "Edit Event". In order to edit an event I have to long press while in the Agenda or Day View listing. Anyone else noticed this? I swore on 2.1 "Edit Event" was an option.
The 1 by 4 HTC calendar widget has my dates one day behind. Had it on 1.5 thru all leaks. Is there any fix, does the ota fix this. Don't really want ant other widgets.

I have my work email account (Outlook) on my phone and some of the meetings on the email calendar are syncing to the stock app calendar on phone. I have all the setting to where it should sync on phone.
