HTC Incredible :: Wallpaper - Set Them As My Background - Picture Set As Wallpaper But Just Default Wallpaper
May 14, 2010I downloaded pictures off the internet and tried to set them as my background, and it says "This picture has been set as wallpaper" But its just the default wallpaper. So then I tried the Bar code scanner wallpapers and Android themes.com and same thing!

May 11, 2012Up until November 2011 I had an older model Motorola Droid X. I was able to take photos using the phone camera and those photos would automatically sync with my Google accounts and could be accessed by Google+, Blogger, etc. All was well and I was happy.
In November 2011, I fried my Droid X when I spilled Gatorade on it and it was immediately replaced with a HTC Droid Incredible 2. I just downloaded Google+ (over six months after replacement) and the photos that I take NOW, sync just fine. But the photos that I took during the last 6-months did not synch up with my Google accounts.
Is there any way to synch the photos taken during the 6-month period that I did not have Google+ installed to be included in the Instant Upload?

May 16, 2013I have a old motorola g3 phone (however it is for verizon ). I can no longer download my photos and videos to my pc. the pc no longer lists it on my cumputer when I plug it in. I do however hear the appropriate sounds it makes when I plug it into my usb.( hardware insert.wav and hardware remove.wav)

Jul 28, 2010I have a Droid X and when I take a photo in portrait mode, it looks nice and sharp on my screen...I can see the entire photo and it is perfect. Then when I try to set it as my wallpaper, it forces me to crop in on the photo which kills the quality. I just want to use the whole photo so it looks JUST like the screen right after I snap the photo. Are there any apps out there that will let me do that? Seems stupid to have to offload the photo onto a PC, resize it to 960x854, and then upload it back to the phone to that it will fit perfectly.

Calendar: When you add an event into the calender on the Month view there is a notification on there (in green) that there's an event on the a specific day. Questions: is there a way to change that color for different events?

May 15, 2012I sync all my photo from PC to Google Photos and sync back to my android devices (Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini and Acer Iconia A500). I can view the photos in Gallery but when I try to setup wallpaper (Multiple Live Wallpaper, Wallpaper Wizardrii), I'm not able to see those photos/albums. I also not able to find the actual file for those photos.
May I know how to download those photos as actual files??

I should be getting mine tonight, and plan on plugging it in when i get it but just want to make sure it won't harm the battery to leave it plugged in overnight for longer than 8 hours.

Aug 16, 2010Yesterday I noticed that my emails from my phone were not getting sent.Today I noticed I had a bunch in my outbox that said sending.I have the sync turned on and all my other Google apps sync (Calendar, Picasa, Contacts) but gmail never updates.I can't force it to send and receive either.And I can't remove my account to set it up again without doing a factory reset.Any ideas why just my gmail is not syncing anymore?BTW I tried to uncheck all sync options turn off phone and back on then check them again without any luck.

Aug 31, 2010After updating to Froyo (Manual Update.zip method), the stock internet browser crashes on load of MULTIPLE sites....including Android forums here.
It loads up a little bit of it...you see some sign of loading...than before it fully loads...CRASH, just closes itself down. This is also true for most of any other forums I visit with the phone. I also noticed a crash from other sites as well. What's the deal? I tried clearing all my history, cookies, etc. on the browser...also tried a couple of battery pulls.
NOTE:
Dolphin Browser HD does not have this behavior....but I would much prefer to continue using Stock browser (It is WAY faster now). ANYONE HELP ME PLEASE.

In short, it seems most flash DOES NOT work. Whats the deal?
HTC Incredible :: Data No Longer Works While On Phone
May 6, 2010I had heard Verizon was unable to allow voice and data usage at the same time. However, when I got my DI I was able to surf the web while talking on the phone. Then this morning Verizon pushes out some update and suddenly when im on the phone 3g disappears.from the top bar and I get an error message that I can't connect to the web. What happened and is there anyway.to reverse this?

Sep 24, 2010The clock/weather widget seems to no longer know my current location. All it says is literally "Current location". Prior to the 2.2 upgrade and even for a while after the upgrade it used to show the actual city or town I was in. I've played around with the settings under Settings -> Location but nothing makes a difference.

Sep 6, 2010Since i got 2.2 it is taking much longer to CHARGE my battery. Before the update, it seemed to gain about 1% every minute, so about 1.5hrs to go from 15% or so to full. I thought it seemed longer lately, so at about 11:20 i plugged it in with 17%. At 1am, it was at 66%. Usually it would be close to or at 100%. What gives?

Aug 26, 2010I'd love some input from anyone before I take my Incredible in for service, please.Three days ago I realized that the charging light was remaining yellow long beyond the phone's usual charge time. Even after leaving it plugged in overnight, the next morning I was still at less than half charge, going only by the Settings>About Phone>Battery>Battery Level graphical display. Last night same thing, whether the phone was on or off, still a yellow charge light. Today for the first time since I got the phone, the battery indicator itself turned yellow towards the end of the day.Preemptive facts:Prior to starting a new thread, I did a thorough search and found nothing related to this specific battery issue.I have the OEM, red, HTC battery, and have never charged it outside of the phone, or with any charging cable other than the one supplied with the phone.When I first received the phone, I charged it fully, unplugged, and bumped charged before turning it on. For about a week afterward I would charge to green while on, unplug, turn off, and "bump charge". I have never had trouble getting through the day on a single charge, and no, I don't think I was training a lithium ion battery, I believed I may have been training the software of the phone itself.I have tried charging the phone fully both on and off, and have not seen green for over two days. This includes continuous charging for over 10 hours.I have had the phone for roughly seven weeks.The phone does charge- just now I have gone from @25% (as measured on the aforementioned graphical display) to @40%, but at that point it seems to no longer charge, although the "Battery State" says "Charging AC" and the little battery icon shows the charging animation.Have I got a dead battery, or am I missing something? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you.

I miss more calls because of this than any other reason. A co-worker has the Moto Droid and that thing will vibrate so hard the phone will move across the desk. However, I discovered that if I, for instance, put my best friend's cell phone number as a favorite icon I can no longer find his contact to add his home number to a favorites icon. The app seems to allow for only one favorite icon per contact. I am sure I am doing something wrong and there must be a way to have two favorite icons for the same contact but different phone numbers such as home and cell.In addition, sometimes when I add a contact to the Favorites app, the contact is no longer listed or searchable under People. Weird, no?
