Jun 6, 2010I have two questions about wallpapers on my nexus one. First off, is there anyway to take a custom image that I have and I am using and put it into the list of "default" backgrounds so that when I change it I don't have to go through that resize hassle and everything and I can have it in a more organized location. Also are there any applications or tools out there to get great looking wallpapers for the nexus one. Sometimes when using an image it doesn't look that good and the selection thing when doing it from the gallery is annoying because of the selection has to be a square yet my screen is 800x480.

Jul 28, 2010I have a Droid X and when I take a photo in portrait mode, it looks nice and sharp on my screen...I can see the entire photo and it is perfect. Then when I try to set it as my wallpaper, it forces me to crop in on the photo which kills the quality. I just want to use the whole photo so it looks JUST like the screen right after I snap the photo. Are there any apps out there that will let me do that? Seems stupid to have to offload the photo onto a PC, resize it to 960x854, and then upload it back to the phone to that it will fit perfectly.

Apr 8, 2010Is anyone getting the same problem as me when trying to upload photos taken with the camera to Google Photos, directly (from Photo->Menu->Share->Picasa). Photos are uploaded 100% complete but when i go onto Google Photos, the photos are chopped, only top 80-90% are there, the rest is filled with a grey border.

May 15, 2012I sync all my photo from PC to Google Photos and sync back to my android devices (Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini and Acer Iconia A500). I can view the photos in Gallery but when I try to setup wallpaper (Multiple Live Wallpaper, Wallpaper Wizardrii), I'm not able to see those photos/albums. I also not able to find the actual file for those photos.
May I know how to download those photos as actual files??

Sep 16, 2010I have been reading through the manual for the Desire and it states that you can have a different lock screen wallpaper to the wallpaper when the screen has been unlocked.
However, I can't seem to manage this at all.
Does anyonw know if this is possible or if it is an error in the HTC manual?
The reason being I would like to have a nice bright lock screen image but a normal black background for when apps and widgets are all over it.

May 29, 2010A few days ago i downloaded the Flikie wallpaper app and was able to save wallpapers on the Desire without any problem. Since yesterday i have been unable to save or set a particular wallpaper. I now keep getting a message "sorry we can not save this wallpaper". I have tried many other wallpapers with the same message appearing.Has anyone else experienced this problem?? Is it likely to be a problem with the app and not the phone?Would it help if i uninstall and then reinstall the app?Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I have tried the new HTC Sync but it just uploads the full res version of my photos. Does anyone know of any sync software for putting photos onto the Desire/Android? I guess I could use iTunes itself but I don't really want to use it at all, especially just for photos.
