HTC Incredible : Way To Setup Down Sound Without Root?

HTC Incredible :: Can't Setup POP Account Through Setup Screen
Nov 8, 2010I was able to successfully setup a POP account through the Setup Screen...in fact when I go back through Setup, I still see the account. The problem is I can't DO anything with it in setup (including deleting it to start over) and it doesn't show up in my Apps window with an icon! I see it on the setup screen labeled "Setup Accounts" but no matter if I tap it or hold it or swipe it or try to hit the menu key, it just sits there. There is a green button with the checkmark in it. I guess what I would think i ought to be able to do is to assign it an icon (or even get a generic one) and find the account listed on my app screen...I'm willing to reset it, but I can't even delete it to start!

It is not located with the alarms, notification, or ringtones. Also, as an added bonus, I am looking for the notification sound from SportsTap as well.

General :: No Sound Or Dialer After Custom S4 Root?
Jan 27, 2014I recently rooted my phone using odin, and flashed a custom rom. I thought I did a backup of my original hardware but can't seem to get back to it. When using the custom rom, everything works except for sound or any apps that require sound, that includes the phone dialer so I can't recieve or make calls. I tried flashing new roms, I even unrooted and installed the stock s4 bell canada rom. When the phone reboots, it'll say kernel is not seandroid enforcing, and from what I understand, that means that maybe my phone is still rooted? Currently, i'm back to my stock s4 rom, but sound and phone still doesn't work.

Jul 16, 2010I have all of my music in one place location. I do not use iTunes. I actually haven't listened to music that much in recent years. I no longer use my iPod.
Anyway, my questions is this...what do "Music People" do to simulate an iTunes experience on the Incredible? Or what do you do to simply stay synched between the Inc and your computer and keep files organized?
I have Amazon MP3. When you download songs from there they go into an Amazonmp3 folder. If using Doubletwist, they go into the Music folder on SD Card.
I just wanted to know what other people are doing to have all of their music in one location and have it backed up/synched on their home computers.

Jan 17, 2010My Gmail account works great, and I have my aol and yahoo acounts set up no problem (well the yahoo was a little problem but got it to work so thats all that matters). I have 2 other email accounts that no matter what I do I can not get them to work. One is my works email which is handled by a company called network solutions. I can get the incoming server setup fine but I can not get the outgoing to work. The other is my school email which is some sort of msn email account variation (username@email.itt-tech.edu which i log into through msn.com). I cant get anything to work for this accuont.

Apr 28, 2010Everything seems to be working fine except - no Picasa. I set up the phone with my Google account and calendar, mail, contacts are all synced fine. However, no Picasa albums in Photos section. Went to Account setup, clicked on Google account, no Picasa there either. On my wife's Droid (OS v2.1 also) Picasa is listed under Google account options. Is this an Incredible bug or am I missing something?

Sep 10, 2010Are there any special settings I should have when recording in 720p? every time I take video then play it back on my pc its super choppy and the video skips all over the place. the audio seems to be fine (LOL) but the video is unwatchable. should i just go back to the regular resolution? any one else have this problem?

May 28, 2010I'm looking for an app that allows you to setup certain actions just by pressing a widget....basically like running a batch file. For instance, let's say I setup a Car widget. When I press that, I'd like my BT to turn on, my WiFi to turn off, Drivesafe.ly to turn itself on and the Car Panel to open up. Not sure exactly how I'd configure it, but just an idea. I'm now testing out Bluetooth Power Profile which will turn BT on any time the charger is plugged in, but I'm looking for a bit more control. Figured someone here would know if something like this existed.

I tried deleting and setting up the account again. It seems to accept the pop/outgoing information.
