May 4, 2010I have 3 emails I check on my Incredible, all are pop 3 accounts, is there anyway to make or set up a folder or 2 for saved emails.

Jul 30, 2010I have had my incredible for about a week and have my yahoo and hotmail set up. My problem is when I 'delete' messages from these accounts the same messages appear again when the accounts refresh. Is there something I've done wrong in the setup?

Aug 12, 2010I'm having trouble sending emails with my pop email account (cox communications). I receive emails fine. However, I get a message stating "unable to send email." I tried deleting and setting up the account again. It seems to accept the pop/outgoing information. However, I get a message after submitting the SMTP information stating "unable to connect to the mail server, server not responding." Is there another email program I could try?

May 12, 2014I've used IOS for a while and wanted to try something different. That being the case I bought a google nexus 7 to play around with it. I have 2 google+ accounts set up on this phone because I play a game called Clash of Clans. I had to link both my IOS accounts over to 2 google play accounts. Now when I connect via Wi-Fi anywhere, it downloads the emails from both accounts. Is there a way for only allow for one of them to download? I'm not too familiar with this new operating system, so maybe I'm just not looking in the right spot.

I know that when you setup the phone you have to tie it to a Google/gmail account, but what if my wife wants to check her email and stuff as well? She isn't going to have a smartphone of her own. Issue:
I have two Gmail accounts setup on my phone, both of which use Google Apps, so the addresses are (at) example1.com and (at) example2.com as opposed to ending in gmail.com. I use my first account to sync my contacts, calendar and mail, and my secondary account just syncs mail. I then added an old @gmail.com account for no particular reason and now it won't let me delete it and gives this reason: "This account is required by some applications. You can only remove it by resetting the phone to factory defaults".
When I first added the account, by default it didn't turn on mail sync. I have left that unchecked, and also left contacts and calendar sync unchecked. Therefore, this account hasn't yet interacted with any apps/programs. Is the reason I can't delete this @gmail.com account because Android recognizes it as a 'proper' Gmail address? I have searched for similar threads, but ultimately the discussions there seem to focus on different problems.

So far I have three email accounts including my gmail account on my eris. When I first setup my msn, and school email I was able to separate the accounts into two separate icons. Now that I have figured out how to add my yahoo account I would like to have a separate icon for this also but can't figure out how I did this the first time.

Aug 2, 2010I just gave up my Blackberry Storm for the Motorola Droid X. I'm seriously considering taking it back. That it keeps message history in your contacts is in and of itself reason enough, but the final straw was when I just tried to save an email only to realize THERE IS NO SAVE FOLDER!If there is an app that will allow me to save an email (right now the only folders are inbox and trash) please let me know, or this crap goes back. By the way, I don't mean save an attachment. I mean save an email. On the storm if you hit save on any type of message it goes to your saved folder. Even if you delete everything in your inbox. To delete it once you've saved it you must delete it from the saved folder.

Oct 24, 2012setting up UCCW so how the widgets created should be inside the UCCW directory..some of the new clocks, battery bars, etc. I downloaded come with just a "UZIP" file, some come with a UZIP file & an image and some come with a whole directory that has weather images, fonts, etc. inside.
In the posts & threads I found previously that didn't really explain how to set up the new widgets, they just said "put everything inside the UCCWoutput folder"....
now, if one widget I download unzips to a folder with all that widgets' contents inside should I just put that folder inside the UCCWoutput folder?or do the fonts go into the "fonts" folder on the SD card and everything else go into the UCCWoutput folder?
right now I have almost everything placed in the UCCWoutput folder...no folder for images or files or font or separate folders for separate widgets....and only a few of the widgets show up when I try to add one to my screens...I thought maybe that each widget should have it's own folder but from what I read in previous posts I found the explanations were pretty vague...."put so-and-so inside the UCCWoutput folder"....that doesn't explain anything really since some widgets have 1 file and some have a UZIP file, a font file and a bunch of images...

Nov 30, 2010I recently purchased the Samsung fascinate which runs android 2.1 (eria) and found online before i bought it that the phone could support 2 exchange server emails. i have set up my first email through the setup and selected exchange as the server. now the problem arises, when i go into link up my other exchange email account i enter in the info then click automatic setup, it brings me to manual setup automatically everytime and wont allow me to select exchange as the server. it only gives me the options of imap and pop3, neither of these thus far will work and link my second email, i called my it dept and got the port numbers and all that when entering them into the imap and pop3 setup but it will not work. is there anyway around this or how do i setup to exchange server emails on this device.

When I have a lot of emails piled up in my trash folder like say 70 or more, when I hit delete all it hangs and doesn't do anything and than it forces close. What I do is delete them 10 at a time. Aug 29, 2010Follow these steps and you could save yourself the hourly push for emails. (This works for GMail). It sends you a text alert everytime you get an email. Most of the time in a matter of second. I used this method on my iphone to save battery life from email pushing.
- log on to you gmail account
- click on settings on the right top corner
- click on forwarding and pop/imap tab
- in the forwarding section click the "forward a copy of incoming mail to (at this point enter your 10 digit phone number@text.att.net)
- click save changes
You will now recieve a text message whenever you get an email. So all you battery hoggs can keep your push off if you want.
HTC Desire :: Music Setup - Album Folder Difficult To Deal
May 5, 2010Generally music setup is good, much better than on the Blackberry. However, when I go into the album folder all the songs show up from that album as individual albums; on some of them when I click, it will show about 3 songs, others 1 etc. Also, showing 3 of the same song, not sure how that occurred but can probably fix that.
