HTC Incredible :: Not Turning On - Battery Indicator Light Still Works
Jun 8, 2010Just woke up. My phone will not turn on. Battery indicator light still works... however it will not turn on. Any one else experiencing the same thing?

Oct 19, 2010I'm about 98% sure I've changed what color my LED light (the one that comes on when you're charging) was for notifications. But now I can't find an option or setting anywhere to do it... did they remove this feature with the 2.2 update or something?it may have been a setting that was in handcent but i'm not sure

Sep 3, 2013LED indicator not showing up on your Note 2? Even after doing the *#0*# test only to find out your LED is in fact working, just not showing notifications? Then perhaps you may have Blocking Mode enabled. Now, I never marked this box and only assume that it came on either after a re-boot or updates, but I re-booted and saw it still in my notification bar, clicked on it and saw LED Indicator was set to off. I marked the box (or just disable blocking if that's your choice), and that solved my problem. I knew LED was fine because my phone is new and the light was showing up when I was re-booting, just not staying on. Now if it is not listed in your Notifications because it's not turned fully off and maybe only 1 setting is marked, it can be found in: Settings, Devices; underneath Home Screen Mode.

Jun 7, 2010Things i have tried to fix the problem.
1. Having someone leave me a voicemail, and then checked and deleted it.
2. Turning off the phone.
3. Taking out the battery.
4. Pressed * instead of hanging up when I exit voicemail.
I am relatively sure I know what caused the problem, I just don't know how to fix it. I had a voicemail that I had not yet checked on my phone when I signed up for visual voicemail. I then looked at it on visual voicemail, decided I didn't need to listen to it, and then deleted it. Therefore, I have this "phantom" voicemail still there even though I deleted it. I tried uninstalling the visual voicemail and then reinstalling it, but I was unable to uninstall it...
I am at a loss here, and I know it's not a big deal but it aggravates the bejesus out of me for some reason. Any ideas?

Google Voice software has an issue where the software is telling the phone I have voice mails, or the phone is telling the software I do. I don�t know which but its clearly a bug.
I�ve only been able to temporarily fix by factory resetting my phone. I do not have any unread/unheard voice mails, on my phone OR online. When I press the notifications (which is currently telling me I have 3 Voice mails) it dials google voice, where it tells me I have none.
Its just annoying.
Any idea on what the cause is, and if I can get rid of it. I cant imagine I am the only one with this issue.

Jul 17, 2010I can attest to the fact that this works. It even brings the little red x's back. Looks like new. I just tried it on my wife's LG Env3. She washed it a few months back and both stickers (on the battery and the phone) were completely red. Did the rice/oven trick and all was well, no problems whatsoever. Well lately she's been having some battery problems ,her phone has been shutting off randomly at times as if the battery is loosing connection with the phone. No corrosion issues from the wash, I honestly think this issue is unrelated. Well, it turns out that there was a problem with the Env3's battery/connection design and the Verizon rep. was happy to send her out a replacement phone right away. May 4, 2010I added BatteryTime to one of my home screens and it asked if I wanted to display the % in the notifications to which I said OK to (it displays in the ongoing notifications and stays displayed in the top left corner of the phone). But now I'd like to remove it from there. I cant find this in the settings? I tried removing the program from the home screen, then re-adding it, but it didn't give me the options like I was displayed initially. Any ideas?

Jul 21, 2010The Inc is my first smartphone so I don't know anything about how the LED indicators work. When I get emails and texts, I get the green LED indicator that flashes. Is the LED supposed to keep flashing until you clear the email/text from your notifications panel? I ask because I got an email last night and I didn't check it until I woke up this morning and the LED indicator wasn't flashing anymore. If this is intentional, what's the purpose of having the LED flash for only a limited amount of time?
