Sprint HTC Hero :: LED Indicator Light When Charging?
Jun 4, 2010Is there a way to have the phone still display notifications using the LED when he phone is charging? As it stands, charging the phone keeps the light solid.

Apr 25, 2010I have had the phone for 6 months and love it. Does anyone know of a way to make the audio message indicator (text and or VM) to keep beeping? Sometimes I miss a call and unless I pick up the phone and see the blinking light, I don't notice that I have a message.
Maybe and app? I have searched through all the settings and could not find anything. I think I have had this on most/all of my cell phones before.
Sprint HTC Hero :: Water Damage Indicator Error?
May 24, 2010So, I've been having random problems with my phone for a few months now. Nothing debilitating, but enough to cause a hassle. I took it into sprint to see if I could get a refurb or something, and when the tech opened it up, she noticed the water damage indicator was red. Now, not only do I know for sure the phone has never faced water damage, but the sticker on the battery is still in tact. I am one of many who suffer from dust under the cover, so I know that if dust can leak in, moisture would seep in even easier. I looked on ebay to find stickers that I could just replace, but couldn't find anything with the same design/size. Regardless, the Sprint store said there was nothing they could do. Is it worth calling their CS? In all actuality, I'd love it if Sprint would just allow me to upgrade to the Evo with their discount, but i'm sure that's not likely.

Sep 3, 2013LED indicator not showing up on your Note 2? Even after doing the *#0*# test only to find out your LED is in fact working, just not showing notifications? Then perhaps you may have Blocking Mode enabled. Now, I never marked this box and only assume that it came on either after a re-boot or updates, but I re-booted and saw it still in my notification bar, clicked on it and saw LED Indicator was set to off. I marked the box (or just disable blocking if that's your choice), and that solved my problem. I knew LED was fine because my phone is new and the light was showing up when I was re-booting, just not staying on. Now if it is not listed in your Notifications because it's not turned fully off and maybe only 1 setting is marked, it can be found in: Settings, Devices; underneath Home Screen Mode.

Sprint :: Charging Sprint HTC Hero With Blackberry Charger
Mar 31, 2010Is it okay to charge the Sprint HTC Hero with a Blackberry charger? They are both listed as using MINI-USB ports but when you look at the actual plug, they look different. The Blackberry charger does fit, and charges, but i was just wondering if anyone had any issues. I went to the sprint store and asked them, but they said that they "heard" it would mess things up. But obviously they just wanted me to buy a car charger from them.

Aug 9, 2010I dunked my Moto Droid as I fell into a pool this weekend. I probably tried to boot it too soon after that happened, but now a few days later it is operational. Theres a few flecks in the screen display but otherwise I cannot notice any serious deficiencies in the interface. The one major problem I am having however is with the battery. Obviously, it got wet as well, and when the phone did become operational again, it indicated about 50% charge and went down from there as I used it. After it powered down though, when I plugged it in to charge the battery indicator showed a question mark and I can no longer charge it. The Droid will operate when plugged into a wall outlet only (not my computer). Is it possible that replacing the battery is the only necessary fix?

Jun 7, 2010My phone was rooted with Freshrom 2.1.2 then I recently unrooted my phone with the official sprint 2.1 because I was having usb charging problems. My phone charges fine with the AC adapter, but when I plug into a usb to charge it never does... the orange light comes on and my batt. indicator says it is charging but it never does. I've checked to make sure my status indicator says "Charge Only"... any ideas why I'm not charging via usb?
