View 12 RepliesDoes anyone know if there is an app to change the battery indicator to a true percentage? I know of apps that you can put on the homescreen, but the indicator in the status bar is never right. Yesterday I had 25% left and it was still showing 50%.
View 17 Replies View RelatedI know before the upgrade to 2.2 I could view my battery percentage by going to type in the phone number *#*#4636#*#*. Now after the upgrade when I type that in it won't show anymore.Does anyone know if there is a new code to type in?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI didn't see a thread in here discussing this, but I'm using a battery percentage indicator that shows the percentage in the status bar. I just want to get an idea of what everybody else is using. The one I downloaded from the appmarket is cool for being free, but if anybody has recommendations, I'd love to hear them. I really want the one that HTC makes, but it's only available for the N1 and Desire right now. Post up the different ones being used.

View 6 Replies View Relatedall these apps have battery life in increments of 10%. do any go by 1% ? for example, phone shows 82% battery life and not 80%...

As I remember the issue got started from my fault about wipping my battery state. my battery never charged to 100%.I tought I can solve this by wiping when it's fully charged(99%).so I charge my phone to 99% and wipped.but after that my charge percentage got wrong.for example it shows 50%,but it gets off bcoz of low battery.or I plug my charger when it's at 30%.it jumps to 90%rapidly.I have changed my rom.but no results.I tought maybe it's from relation of hardware(battery)and software(ROM) data.so I decide to try my idea.
My idea was:wipe and format all things at recovery.draining battery to 0%(by entering the downloading mode and remaining to it untill phone gets off)then pluging it to charger and let it fully charged.and then odin and installing a ROM.but I have wiped and formated all ghings.but when I plug the charger now a battery icon appears on the screen, but it doesn't get green as it is charging.

Im curently running cyanogen/tazz v6 first I have heard people talking about upgrading from RC1 to RC2 where can I download RC2. If I can't no biggie but my main question is, is there a way to change the color of the batery life indicator in the status bar.
View 1 Replies View RelatedNo intentions of being redundant, however I ran a search didn't find any new info and I'v been banging my head. I'm farely noobish at root, and I'm currently just running straight up android 2.2 flashed with 3.21 unrEVOked, and everything is working great *cheers to them, great job* I'm just trying to replace my stock battery icon with a new one with percents. I didn't find anything on the forum, perhaps I'm blind.. but just figured I'd see if there was a way to do this yet without installing a rom. I tried one from another site and it put my phone into a force close frenzy and wouldn't load senseui (kept fc'ing) thus making my phone useless. MDA didn't do a nandroid backup, and I royally effed my phone and had to swap back to another incredible. so if anyone has any information, that'd be supa.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThis was brought up a lot when the Inc was just released. Everyone pretty much said that we had to wait until we were rooted. But has anyone found a way to add the battery percentage on the stock battery icon at the top? I hate having to install an app and have another battery icon in the notification bar with this.
View 12 Replies View RelatedI applied a battery percentage mod without doing a nandroid. Now I'm stuck in a boot loop. I tried reapplying the stock battery in recovery and still looping.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI wiped my battery stats yesterday (full bump charge, wipe, drained battery) and I did a full charge and after 2 hours up and 5 minutes awake, I have 55% left..I know I have more battery but I want the battery meter to show the right percentage.
View 2 Replies View Relatedcan someone please tell me which app or widget to get that will display my battery info on my lock screen.my phone is rooted and i currently am using batterylife which i like but i don't know if there is a better option plus i wanna put it on my lockscreen so i don't have to unlock my phone all the time
View 1 Replies View RelatedI added BatteryTime to one of my home screens and it asked if I wanted to display the % in the notifications to which I said OK to (it displays in the ongoing notifications and stays displayed in the top left corner of the phone). But now I'd like to remove it from there. I cant find this in the settings? I tried removing the program from the home screen, then re-adding it, but it didn't give me the options like I was displayed initially. Any ideas?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm looking for a battery indicator widget/app that will show the remaining battery left (numeric) in the status bar. I found "Battery Indicator" which shows a separate battery % in the status bar, but I"m looking for one that will superimpose the numeric % left over the stock battery meter icon in the status bar.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI've noticed sometimes my Incredible battery indicator stops showing the charging symbol but the orange LED is still lit, and if I go to my About Battery, it says "Discharging" rather than "Charging." I don't do anything to the phone to cause this, but would love to know why it's happening if anyone knows.
View 10 Replies View RelatedOn my Vibrant I have both the standard "green battery" icon in my taskbar, as well as a downloaded battery percentage icon. I've noticed that the standard icon does a really poor job tracking the actual battery percentage. For example, the percentage will show 35%, but the icon will still appear two-thirds green.
View 2 Replies View RelatedHas anyone noticed an increase in battey drain while using the Lookout Mobile Security app? I noticed my battery drain was a little higher than usual today. I also have an app called battery indicator installed and was wondering if those apps cause higher battery drain also?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Motorola Milestone with Android 2.1. I'd like an app which shows the battery level in the notification bar. Nothing fancy, no estimation of remaining battery life nor fancy eye candy. If it can show a more precise reading than the Milestone built-in one, which only decreases in 10% intervals, fine, but only if this isn't a drain on the battery. I know there are several such apps, but which do you think is the best for my needs? There are so many it's hard to try them all and choose. I just want something basic and simple which doesn't drain the battery. I tried "battery indicator" and "battery status pro"; they both do what I need, but I'm afraid they might be an additional drain on the battery.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had a Droid X2 for almost 2 years, and as phones usually do, the battery life became pretty bad. It would get to 5% and then quickly die halfway through the day.
I purchased a new battery, and found it to be just as bad (supposedly). It would be down to 5% by noon without much usage, so I thought maybe the problem was with my phone and not an old battery. I'd just turn it off or try to find a charger...
It took me a few days to realize that it lasts hours past when it gets to 5%. HOURS. It reached 5% at about 1pm EST today, I used it my whole commute home on the train, made a two 5-10 minute phone calls this evening, and now past 9pm it still hasn't died.
So, it's not the battery. It's not the worst problem to have... but it would be really nice to know how much battery I have left.
Note: I rooted my phone about 1 week before I got the new battery.
Is there anyway to get the battery percentage on top of or somewhere next to the battery icon in the status bar? I use Battery Indicator right now, but I'd rather have it on the battery icon like the iPhone has it. It's kinda hard to believe a smartphone wouldn't have an option to display the battery percentage.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI hope you can help me out by chiming in on this. I've been using my phone a bit, and it looks like my battery goes down by about 10-12% for every 15 minutes I'm on a call. Is this normal? It seems like my battery isn't lasting anywhere near as long as it should. Extrapolating those figures out, you'd be looking at 150 minutes (2h 30m) of call time per charge - way below the quoted time (7h on 3G). Additionally, I seem to be able to lose about 10% of my battery just browsing the web for 10 minutes over 3G. I have GPS off, but WiFi and sync on.Are you all getting significantly better than this?
