Lookiing for a flashlight app that utilizes back side LED instead of phone screen, anybody knows good app like that?

View 7 Replies View RelatedMay be a stupid question but is there a way to disable this feature? I'm trying to run my battery to zero to calibrate it. I'm well aware it's getting low, don't need the light reminding me.

View 2 Replies View Relatedyesterday on the way home from a road trip I had my phone playing pandora while plugged into a car charger when the notification light started blinking back and fourth from green to orange, anyone have any idea what this is about?
Also I've got the low storage space notification, has the answer to that been decided as do a factory reset?
Of the 4 buttons on the bottom of the phone, the search button does not light up. The button works fine and the other 3 buttons light up, but not the search button.
View 3 Replies View Relatedwhile on my Dinc i cant see a thing>..... Im sure its the screen but damn you could actually use his phone in the sun....
View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm guessing this is because the light detector determines I have plenty of light and thus decides that I don't need them to glow. But really, it's just annoying, as in direct light, i can't see the keys whatsover thanks to glare. Thus, my questions: 1. is it normal for the soft key lights to turn off? and 2. is there any way to override this and have them on at all times?
View 3 Replies View RelatedWill there ever be the option of changing the blinking light to different colors like the motorola droid i had did...it's starting to bother me. Anyone know? Or of any other app that has the different color blinking light options for text, calls ect?
View 12 Replies View RelatedThis seems to be an issue that I may have just noticed. Sometimes when I turn on my phone the touch sensitive buttons do not light up. They may eventually light up but it would take a while. Also sometimes they light up immediately with no problem. Is anyone else having this same issue?

2. Why does my alarm clock never go off on the morning? It is def set correctly
3. Sometimes when browsing, the screen will get brighter and dimmer automatically. Is this a feature ofthe phone to save battery or is something wrong?
How can I get the "home" "menu" "back" and search buttons to light up?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI lost my dare phone and need a replacement. I was looking at the droid for its led flash, and rooted wifi teathering for my ipod/future ipad. Also love the gps feature. But the camera kinda sucks, and i'm big on cameras and i'm not sure how future proof the processor is. The incredible does not appear to have an LED flash worked out yet(was my favorite feature on my casio tough phone) and as far as i know none has successfully tethered it to an idevice yet? Do you think wifi tethering is going to be a future on this device? And how do you think Big red is going to handle it? And with the LED flash is it just a matter of time thing or are the talented app developers running into some blockades? Any other considerations between the two devices? keyboard i could care less about, and the price right now is the same.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI used this app on my original Motorola Droid and loved it, but I have noticed some problems with it on the Incredible. I'm wondering if it's just me or if anyone else has had these problems as well.
1. LED Light does not change color. No matter what color I set the LED light to in the Handcent app, it always just blinks green. This isn't necessarily a huge deal, but I liked having my text messages blink a different color than my emails and other notifications.
2. LED light does not always blink and screen does not turn on. I noticed that the LED light only flashes once in a while, no matter what type of blink setting I choose. Also, the screen does not turn on when I get a text even though I have the box checked that is supposed to enable the screen to turn on despite having the popup box disabled. Once again, not a huge deal, but it would be nice if these things worked since I got used to these features on the Droid.
3. Phone does not vibrate at all when in Vibrate mode. Ok, this one is a huge deal. No matter which vibrate settings I choose, the phone will not vibrate when I receive a text if the phone is in vibrate mode. I am missing tons of texts now because I need to have my phone silent for most of the day. I checked the recent reviews of the app and didn't see anyone complain about this, so I don't know if there is just something wrong with my phone or if the app just isn't very compatible with the Incredible.
How do you make the buttons on the bottom of the phone light up ?

4 buttons randomly light up and off when the phone is in stand by mode at times
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am still experiencing phantom swipes (only to the left) on my Incredible. Putting a piece of duck tape over the optical track pad seems to resolve it. This has been ongoing for about a month and a half. I have a warantee but really don't want to wait for my new phone/get one of the newer LCD phones. I have been able to recreate the phantom swipe by moving the phone under different light sources. This is so annoying.
I have tried everything, there isn't dust on my track pad and its not a matter of grounding. I really hope this is not a hardware issue. I got my Inc by pre-order (original with AMOLED). I have been able to toy with some of the newer Inc builds (with the LCD screen). I have noticed the trackpad is more flush with the unit, this leads me to believe they reworked the hardware to fix an issue. Anyone else with the original AMOLED Inc builds experiencing this?
I get the blinking green light for a notification like your are supposed to, however it does not happen when the phone is plugged in and charging. Any suggestions?
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo i think i might have the first shattered Incredible screen. I dropped it from two feet onto the metal camera protruding part. It hit with very little force. You can barely even see the mark from falling. So i pick it up and notice the entire screen is shattered when the screen was face up, the screen didn't even hit the ground! I can't believe how thin the Incredible screen is, it literally crumbled jut from the force of a light fall. I'm unimpressed in the build quality of the glass. I want to contact HTC about this and see if they can help me out, it seems like a manufacturing defect, maybe a weak screen? I need to find the biggest case that i can find for my replacement, one that could absorb a fall if it falls on the back part. I am thinking maybe a pillow as a case? That might help. Now im out ANOTHER 100 bucks to make an insurance claim on this. I highly recommend people keeping the insurance, the screen blows up even if it is not directly the part that hits if it is dropped.
View 49 Replies View RelatedI rooted a few days ago and did the forever S-off. I have ROM Manager loaded and was poking around in the system. I downloaded Skyraider and ROM Manager asked me to reboot. Not thinking it wouldn't let me know what it was doing when in recovery before doing something the rom had been applied. Now the Phone has for 40+ minutes been at the "HTC Incredible" boot screen.
I have read not to pull the battery but The power Button and Volume button do nothing so I could really use some suggestions. As a little more info I have not flashed the radio yet so it was a 1.x radio that a 2.2 rom was just seemingly applied to.
Bricked or recoverable? I have a Nandroid backup if someone can help me get back to that point...
I have an Incredible and a friend just got the Evo. I also went to HTC's Evo launch party in NYC so I've had my fair share of time with it and I have to say, IMHO, I was shocked at the difference in AMOLED vs LCD.
I never really gave much thought to it and I always thought it wouldn't really make a difference but HOLY COW.
It was the first and glaring thing to me whenever comparing the phones. Everything from the home screen to widgets to photos, videos, web sites. It was quite dramatic. The LCD on the Evo always looked kind of washed out since I've become used to the AMOLED.
The viewing angles, crispness, deep blacks and color saturation on the AMOLED is a huge win for me.
I just got my incredible in the mail to replace my droid and i'm hoping that i just have a lemon here. anyone that is coming from a droid, do you notice a huge drop in quality in the screen resolution vs the droid? yeah, the incredible's screen is brighter, but the screen is so heavily pixelated compared to my old droid. it's a big shame because i absolutely love the phone but the websites are almost unbearable to read.
View 29 Replies View RelatedI've had the phone since launch day with no problems. No suddenly, it's being weird. Yesterday I kept trying to answer a call and the other line would be dead. Then when I would try to cal the person back, there was a horrible high pitch buzzing noise in the speaker. So I did a battery pull and that seemed to fix it.
Now today, I turned the phone on and it' stuck on the initial "HTC Incredible" screen. It won't get past the screen. Has this happened to anyone?
The phone is not rooted.
