Does anyone have problems with your face hanging up the phone during calls? I often need to hold the phone on my shoulder and cheek while chasing three kids and the phone inevitably hang up.
Is anyone having this issue? Is there an app that will keep this from happening?

I have noticed that I hang up with my face quite frequently when talking on the phone if I take my hand off the phone and hold it on my shoulder. Is there a way to stop this from happening?

I don't go a day without using it and I'm still trying to get everything customized to my liking. However I have had one issue since I received my phone. I seem to be hanging up on people with my face or either my phone is dropping calls like crazy. I took it in to the verizon store and the lady there had no idea what to do. My phone calls just end mid conversation with someone and I don't know if it's my face or if my droid x is dropping calls. It doesn't say anything like "call was lost" like it did on my old phone.

I think I remember this happening once or twice on the moment but admittedly, I don't use it much so not sure if the lock screen was on, screen was off, etc. Just looking to see if anyone if affected by this or if it's a known problem.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am one of those crazy types with 2000+ Facebook friends for games and such. When I get my DInc. (hopefully this week or early next week.) and do the contact merger thing, Do I have to merge in all of my Facebook friends? Or can I just pick a filter like Family and Close Friends only? This would bring the total merged contacts down to a much more manageable 100+ or so. Really do not want 2000 people on my phone, that would be a mess! If there is no option other than all or none, I may have to start a new facebook account just to limit the chaos.

View 9 Replies View RelatedIs anyone else having a problem with their browser hanging to load a website and then the only thing that corrects it is restarting the phone? I have having zero issues with this phone except for this. And if not for this, I would probably rarely restart my phone. Sometimes I will pull up the browswer and the bar will fill with about 75% green and then just stop. I try to relaunch the browser, refresh and all of that good stuff to no avail. Once I restart the phone, everything is fine. I am using the stock browswer by the way. Is this a browswer problem? Should I try a different one? Or is it a phone/software problem?

every time i flash a cooked ROM with apps2sd the phone hangs..for example after flashing the Rom i go to the clock to set my alarm the phone just hangs cant do anything need to pull out the battery and put it back in the phone and re start the phone.this happens for any application i try to open after flashing the cooked rom.i have no problem flashing the cooked rom with my existing 4GB.i also have no problem using the 8GB with stock rom or Nand backup.can any one kindly give me a solution to use the 8GB with a cooked ROM which has apps 2sd
noticed something weird with KitKat, and confirmed this on two different phones (Nexus 5 and Moto G but running latest KitKat 4.4.2). On occasion (not every time) the phone seems to auto dial someone after you've ended a call with someone else.
My wife reported the problem first with her Moto G. At first I thought she might just be accidentally hitting a button after calling someone (this is her first smart phone and first touch screen phone) but it's happened several times for her. Final catch was today when I clearly had it happen to me (it also appears it may have happened before once or twice on my phone). I had called someone using my bluetooth in my car, at the end of the call I pushed the hangup button on the steering wheel, and the call ended. Then my wife picked up the phone to call another person and we both noticed it was calling some other friend of ours (that I had txt'd with maybe 2 hours before). It had just started calling this person for no reason. We quickly ended the call (hopefully it didn't bug them), but wow is that annoying.
It seems to happen every once in a while right after hanging up with another call. It seems to call someone in either your recent call or txt history. I'm not sure what might trigger it as it doesn't happen every time, and I'm not sure what number it chooses to call (though it does appear to be someone you recently called or txt'd).
I am trying to add the full screen style face book widget to one of my home screens but it always adds the small one without asking me which style I want. To reproduce this you can add the small one to a screen, then delete it, then try to add the face book widget again and it won't ask you which style this time.

There are lots of times that while on a call you need to hit a number to transfer and the screen times out way to fast and you end up accidentally, while trying to get the screen to wake up, that you hit the wrong number whlie the screen is dark. There has to be a setting somewhere for this. Any suggestions?

It meant that I didn't have to hear alerts all night for emails and text, but if someone called me I would know. is there a similar setting, or at least an app, that provides this function? I think it's a good idea for those of us who don't have a land line, and dont want to hear alerts all night but forget to take off silent in the morning.

One of which is when someone calls me or I call them depending on what "mood" my phone is in the person on the other line cannot hear me. Also since about two days ago it's been happening almost everyday, now the hitch pitched "Beep" is accompanying the problem of the person on the other line not being able to hear me. I can get around it, I have toe reset my phone twice. Yep, twice. I reset it the first time and it does nothing. Still same ol' high pitched "beep" and no one can hear me. No matter how long I wait on the phone or how many phone calls I make. After the second reset it works with no problems.

I can't even hang up on the call.I have to wait for the other caller to hang up first.I've installed Keepscreen, adjusted display settings, and have done a hard reset. It still behaves the same. Not only is this unpleasant when I have the phone to my ear, but it's also an annoyance to the person I'm talking to as they hear the vibrate sounds. In fact any time I'm talking to my girlfriend and my phone vibrates, she asks "who is texting you now?" I really just want the notification turned off while I'm on a call. Is there a way to prevent this from happening while on the phone?

Doesn't matter if it's on the 1st, 3rd, 5th ring... it seems like it's auto-ignoring based on my attempts to get it out of the holster. Can someone tell me if this is a magnet deal, a setting i'm setting, or if there's an option I can turn off/program I can install that makes it harder to ignore calls? View 6 Replies View RelatedI just got the HTC Incredible and one of the things I haven't been able to figure out is how to set incoming phone calls to vibrate, yet play the notification sound. None of the profiles seems to make that combination happen. If I switch it to silent, no sound or vibrations happen for calls or notifications. In the vibrate profile, both calls and notifications only vibrate. In normal mode, I can't get calls to vibrate only. If I slide the call ringer volume all the way down and slide notification volume up, it switches it to silent mode. If I have call ringer volume up one notch from silent, it still plays the ringtone. Is this something I can accomplish or do I have to have silent calls only if I still want notifications played?

The screen doesnt light up and no options for receiving calls. This happened before I installed Google voice. I disabled Google voice and still no joy. Everything else works. I can make calls, browse over WiFi and 3G.
