I am trying to add the full screen style face book widget to one of my home screens but it always adds the small one without asking me which style I want. To reproduce this you can add the small one to a screen, then delete it, then try to add the face book widget again and it won't ask you which style this time.

View 41 Replies View RelatedI am one of those crazy types with 2000+ Facebook friends for games and such. When I get my DInc. (hopefully this week or early next week.) and do the contact merger thing, Do I have to merge in all of my Facebook friends? Or can I just pick a filter like Family and Close Friends only? This would bring the total merged contacts down to a much more manageable 100+ or so. Really do not want 2000 people on my phone, that would be a mess! If there is no option other than all or none, I may have to start a new facebook account just to limit the chaos.

But one question and concern I have with that is when a froyo rom comes it will remove sense? Meaning stuff like face book contacts syncing will no longer work? Did I get that right?

I have one layout and one layout-land folder in res directory.The problem is that the widget created in landscape mode is not opening in portrait mode and vice-versa.

Anyway this one hasn't had the weather working properly since I have received it, even after going to Froyo. It shoes my weather town name as "Current Location" instead of my towns name which the first two Incredibles showed just fine. The phone will occasionally show my town but not always. I have tried updating the weather a couple times but no luck. I also made sure all the location settings were turned on.

It seems to work for hepatic feedback and on calls BUT apps like gmail/messages/chompsms/others don't vibrate at all even if it's enabled. What the hell do I do? Any ideas?
View 2 Replies View RelatedWell, go the update in the middle of the night and now have a slight problem. I use the phone as an alarm and this morning it would not shut off. I have the side buttons set to disarm the alarm and nothing. I had to turn the phone completely off and then re-boot to get the damn alarm to shut up. Now I can't get "what do tigers dream of when they take a little tiger snooze" outta my head (ringtone from Hangover).

It then deleted all of my contacts.So I deleted Facebook, re-stored all my contacts and reloaded Facebook. However, now it gets as far as installing and it never stops. It just stays on Installing.However, the FB app works fine on the phone itself.Is this a Market glitch? Is there anyway I can purge it from out of my downloads section?

View 8 Replies View RelatedThe face recognition thing on my X10, which used to put contacts' name by their pictures, now seems not to be working. It was never perfect, of course, but it doesn't seem to be working at all now. Photos that were marked with people's names now longer show the information tags, with the exception of very few.
Could it be that I have somehow turned off the facility? I have used Advanced Task Manager to kill a few applications, but if so I can't find how to switch it back on.
The only thing I have done recently is to arrange photos in to different folders, using the SE file manager on the computer. Might this have affected it? I am beginning to tear out what's left of my hair. Can anyone offer any suggestions, please?
Is anyone having this issue? Friend of mine has the D2. Says the display does not turn off when next to her face and registers any touches.I don't have a D2, so I don't know what the phone options/settings might be.
View 3 Replies View RelatedThe wifi toggle widget that comes standard on the phone is not working for me. When wifi is off, I press the toggle widget and the small bar goes up showing that wifi is connected. But at the top bar, it still says 3G and doesn't show the wifi bars symbol. Only when I go into the settings menu does it connect to wifi. Anyone else having this problem? And keep in mind, this is the wifi widget that is already on the phone, not from the marketplace.
