HTC Incredible : Switch From Mobile To Desktop In Browser?
Jul 26, 2010I have only one or two sites I regularly visit that require the mobile version of the site to be rendered. It's too much of a pain to constantly go into settings and check and uncheck the mobile box. Is there a way to make this easier?

HTC Incredible : Dolphin Browser - Turn Off Mobile View?
Sep 14, 2010Question! I'm a big fan of the dolphin HD browser, but I can't seem to find a way to turn off 'mobile view.' There are lots of websites I like that won't let me see video if it detects I'm on a mobile device.
The stock browser has an option under settings to turn off mobile view, and it usually works.
Does dolphin browser have something similar? I can't seem to find it...

Aug 20, 2010I have checked and changed settings back and forth, rebooted, etc. It doesn't happen to all sites, but IS happening more frequently on a variety of sites I regularly browse. Even if I take the "m." out of the address, it still happens.

Feb 27, 2014normally I have sync turned off to prolong battery life but it also removes the capability to see the desktop bookmarks while in Android's Chrome browser. I thought the bookmarks were stored locally and then synced back when sync turned on.
To see desktop bookmarks I have to flip the sync on do my thing and then flip it back off when I'm done browsing.

Aug 29, 2010Just installed SkyRaider 2.5.2 yesterday and radio 2.15. Using Launcher Pro+ and updated the notification bar to have the circle indicator. The charge took almost five hours. (Which I see is a common thing). However, when I unplugged my phone from charging this morning (9+ Hour charge) the battery went from 100% to 93% in about five minutes. It seems like I am losing 1% every minute or so until I reach 93%. Then it kind of stays steady. CPU clock is running constantly at 600 MHz+.

Oct 14, 2009OK so Android comes with this great web browser built in, but I've got a problem with it that is driving me nuts... there is no way to change the browser agent string so that it may be detected by websites as a full-featured browser and deliver desktop web page content rather than mobile browser content (You are redirected to ESPN's mobile site for example when browsing to www.espn.com). In Browser Settings I have Mobile view unchecked, but this does not affect being redirected to mobile content websites. I know some people probably prefer the mobile formatted content, but I wish it was at least an option so I could get to the true desktop version of a site if I wanted to.

May 6, 2014This happens on my LG Optimus G and GS3.
I click a video from say, 9news.com. The video plays in landscape mode with the PLAY button and slider for video time progress.
BUT, when the play button and slider disappears, so does the video. There is sound, but no video.
I cleared my defaults buts the only option after clicking the video to play is:
