Have some problems with the settings..
1. How can i change the number of the desktop screens, i have 5 different screens right now but i only use 3..
2. How can i go back to my original screen? I have tried to kill the adw launcher but it just starts again.

are the screens on the x10 truly capacitive?? is there a difference?. hardware, software? only asking because being the user of an i pod touch they are very different. with the x10 being much less responsive/error prone/over sensitive?. also reading this questions the type of screen Capacitive sensing - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia . especially the 'advantages' part about cleaning with cloths and accidental command inputs. which, im sad to say is wrong, because mine does, and also when in my pocket it has had 'accidental command inputs!' lalso if i squeeze the side of the phone it will input somthing random. all of which doesnt happen with my ipod touch!. so could the x10 be a mix of capacitive and resistive?

View 1 Replies View RelatedWell I encountered a really weird and not pleasent experience with my x10 today. I had it charging overnight like probably everyone who has one does and than I unplugged it to get started for the day. However, when I unplugged it from the usb cord, the screen got locked and flashed. So I turned it off and turned it back on. Well when it came back on, I had LOST everything that I had setup on my 3 screens! No icons, no nothing! Everything was gone except for the wallpaper or theme, which was the same I had setup. I did have ADW setup as my launcher, but all my launchers were gone as well. When I held down the center button, which would normally bring up my launcher option, it brought me to the homescreen.
So now I have to go through and resetup all of the icons and screens. Not a big ordeal, but what is troubling me is why did it even happen?
I have purchaced new sony ericson X10 recently. Can some one suggest me how to remove time space from my desktop. Its covering my photo in desktop. Also tell me me how to disconnect/silent the phone when i get a call.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've checked the "orientation" box in the "sound and display" settings menu, but the Home and Menu screens will not auto-orient when my X10 mini pro is rotated. It only works when the keyboard is slid open - applications don't seem to have this problem. This is a recent issue, probably in the last couple of days. i've tried reinstalling the software via PC Companion and SEUS, in addition to a "factory reset," but they haven't solved anything. Is there something wrong with the accelerometer or is it a software issue that can be resolved with the next software update (2.1)?

When I plop my sim back into my old shitty LG VU, I can once again see the number and the name registered to it. Is this an x10 thing?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have noticed this evening that a number of my apps seem to be smaller on the screen.Paper Toss now only fills half the screen, Solitaire the cards are a lot smaller and harder to read. And MixZing, the menu font is a lot smaller.
Could these all just be issues with the apps or could I have done something to my phone? I can't see that it is possible to change the screen res on the phone and I have not downloaded any further applications that would have changed this.
I can make calls ok and send and receive text. I have my voice mail set up but when I receive calls if I miss the call it does not go to voice mail and the caller get a message saying the number is not recognized. Does anyone know if this is a phone problem or a network problem only had this since I have had my X10.

I just got an x10 and I'm very excited about what I've been able to do so far but dialing out takes 3-5 button presses and some searching for the names of the person I'm looking for.is there an app or other way to get a phone call off to a specific persons number.
