I have taskiller and it seems that I have to always close programs and they wont stay off. Is there a better program out there that I can get to pick and choose what starts up when I turn the phone on?
My main issue with this is my camera. I have to turn off almost all of my programs in order to use my camera smoothly other wise its all choppy and sucks!

I have a number of app's that seem to start and run at random.
I still want these apps on the on phone, so don't want to uninstall, just want to be able to choose when they start up - rather than them starting at random and running in background.
Some of the app's running:
Music
Footprints
Stocks
FM Radio
Juiceplotter
Fake-call-me-Pro
Is there an APP similar to AUTORUNS (which I use on my Windows PC) that lets me choose what programs run at boot?
Mobile phone. I bought it year and a half ago, and have changed operating systems few times (custom roms). Now I have Pristine JB Slim custom ROM, i have installed it 1-2 months ago (cant remember exactly), and everything was okay for first half period, but then it started to crush after mobile data/wifi was turned on.
When I turn on MD/WIFi, its usually okay till 76% of battery, but then screen starts to blink for few seconds and turns off immediately after. When I turn it on again, it turns off again after 1-2 minutes, and sometimes even warns me that i have to charge it cause battery has only few % left (most of time just 1). And I have to charge it again to work normally (well, until it starts to go crazy again )
Before i start to install other roms again. So. Is it faulty battery, bad ROM or something else?
Is there a way to select a different program to launch when i put my droid into the OEM car mount ? i would much rather have it launch Daily road Voyages instead of the google car app.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI installed Handcent because of the battery drain issue, and like it a lot, but now I cannot turn off the OEM Messages program. I tried going into the Settings>Applications>Manage Applications to turn it off, and it doesn't work. I also did the "Use Handcent as default SMS" when that box first pops up. I get two different ringtone notifications too. Although I switched the ringer to the same one both through the phone's settings and through Handcent's settings.
View 2 Replies View RelatedThis has been going on for awhile; not Froyo related When I have Slacker Radio or Pandora on, and I plug my phone into an external speaker though the headphone jack, another music player,(Mixzing, Mspot, Double twist, etc) will start to play music that is stored on my storage card! Even if I force close it, in a minute or so it starts itself up again.. This only happens if I am running Slacker Radio or Pandora.. anyone have a suggestion? This is annoying as hell, since I like listening to Slacker/Pandora through my external speakers, but having 2 songs going at once is bizarre!!

There is some annoying problem when I receive call- the phone starts ringing on the third free signal of the opposite side. When is in active mode, it rings almost immediately, but once it get into sleep mode, then this problem appears...why is this call lag?

I've found a deal online on 3 mobile network that says �23.45 (previously �35) for the white model which i do prefer but once again i am not sure if this includes sat nav and 3G? Example: Today, while the phone was sitting on my desk and I had just force-closed a few apps, the Navigation, Calendar and Clock apps all started to run. The phone screen was off, sitting on a table and I had just confirmed that NONE of those apps were running before I turned off the phone.

My phone was shipped out yesterday morning and is set to be delivered tomorrow sometime. but right now its in oakland, about 35-40 minutes from my house, taunting me. im really thinking about picking it up myself, but i cant figure out how to find which office its in or where the office is located. a quick google search for fedex office in oakland only brought up the fedex print & ship centers, and a few that just say fedex and one fedex express. anyone know what office it might be at?

View 5 Replies View RelatedAfter upgrading my Hero there has occurred a problem.When attempting to move or remove shortcuts the application starts.I press and hold the short cut i wish to move or remove on my home screen waiting for the little vibration and for the trash can to appear.But the short cut instead runs the application.Sometimes it works, sometimes not.This is a bit annoying.Anyone else have the same problem, or better yet have a solution?

View 7 Replies View RelatedBasically when connecting my phone to my car's aux in socket, the music player starts up & plays over whatever else is happening. As an example, if I want to listen to a podcast on Beyondpod, the moment it starts playing, the music player kicks in & plays whatever track was last being played. I use Taskiller to close it down but it's starts up again after a few mins or even seconds. It also occasionally dials the last number I called, just to really wind me up. It also occasionally does this when watching a video with headphones in.
