Does anyone know if there is a way turn off the text flow in the Hero's browser? I hate how when I pinch to zoom, it auto text flows and throws me onto some random place on the site...pretty annoying. I have to then search around for where i on the site I was before I did the pinchzoom

New to Android and to Dolphin Browser HD. I've Googled for days, however, I have come up with squat.
1) When I open a new tab, can it automatically go to my homepage and not the "Speed Dial" sort of page it does now? Any add-ons that might enable this?
2) Does Dolphin Browser HD do automatic text reflow? And, if not, any other browsers that can do this? It is pretty tedious now trying to read pages that aren't re-sized for mobile.
So the charging port broke on my old hero, and i got a replacement. And i downloaded sms backup to take all my texts and turn them into an xml file on the sd card. On the new hero, i downloaded the same program but it does not seem to want to restore the texts back.
Any ideas on how to take that XML file and turn them back into text messages?
I am having trouble getting calls to come in while im on the browser? Also I am having trouble recieving some text messages. When i find out that messages arent coming through, i shut phone off and restart and i works fine for a couple of days, then it goes back to not recieving texts.

NOTE- I already tried ~Settings>Applications>Browser and then click the button Clear Cache and Clear Data then reboot your phone.~

I have noticed when I visit a website on this browser it renders the page very small. I compared it side by side with the regular Dolphin browser that renders pages in normal size. Of course I can pinch zoom but its annoying to have to do that on the hd version,.. am I missing something maybe? Also I cant find youtube on the hd version...

View 7 Replies View RelatedI've notice recently my Hero has been acting up, almost as if it is rebooting. However, I don't believe it is a full reboo, i.e. no sprint logo during boot. Only occurs when exiting out from the internet browser. As soon as you hit the home screen to exit, the phone returns to the white htc load page. It appears like it is the full reboot but it does not move next to the Sprint/Now pages. Next the desktop appears but it is grayed out (i.e. my desktop still shows but grayed out, no icons or widgets showen) and the spinning loading icon shows up. Once it finishes loading things appear back to normal. Almost makes me wonder if this reboot is more like sense rebooting and not the entire phone/system. Not sure if this is possible but I want to get anyone's thoughts and if anyone else had expirenced this.

Whether I use the multitouch pinch-zoom, or the actually zoom buttons on the bottom of the screen, its laggy. Am I doing something wrong?
