I'm using the Nonsensikal ROM now and noticed that Car Home doesnt work anymore. I've installed twice and the app's shortcut is nowhere to be found and under applications, the 'open' button is grayed out. Only 'uninstall' is avalable. Not sure what the dealio is...

View 1 Replies View RelatedIve had open home downloaded for over a month and i only used it for a short period of time before switching back to the default homepage setting. Now, because of the new features added to Open Home i want to switch back, and every time i open 'Open Home' it only opens until i hit the home key. Then it does not ask me what i want to use as my default as it used to. I went to settings>applications>manage applications>open home to clear all defaults but it is not highlighted for me to select it. How can i set Open Home to my default again?
View 10 Replies View RelatedOn my droid phone, I get what I consider a proper pause/stop/resume/restart sequence when the home button is pressed and I then select my application. However, I'm testing on a new Samsung Galaxy tablet and when I select my application after having pressed the home button, a new activity is being launched. I do not understand why the behavior is different on the Galaxy. Any ideas? I have removed orientation config changes in the manifest, so it's not that.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm just full of issue's lately. Oh well, did a quick search and nothing seemed to come up so here we go. I downloaded cachemate tonight to have a one click cache cleaning tool. So I get it on my phone, run it real quick and no problem. Then when I try to get into the market it won't open. Everything else appears to function as normal, but the market hangs up on the loading screen. I think something with clearing the cache on the market may have messed up. Any thoughts? Or will I be installing a new rom tomorrow afternoon?

The issue:
When I have to restart my phone, all apps stop responding, including phone, google apps, everything. I can't make calls, I don't have a signal, nothing works really. The solution: uninstall recently installed applications, and that fixes it.
However, I wonder if there is something else going on causing this. The reason: Yesterday I installed Backgrounds (a popular 4-5 star application from Android Market). I had to reboot my phone (locked up), when I did, nothing was responding, got messages like acore, gapps, and other apps stopped unexpectedly. I removed Backgrounds, restarted again, and everything worked. My wife uses Backgrounds, but her phone doesn't stop working when she has to restart. Why is this happening on my phone? Is there another app causing interference?
I would like to buy Open Home,Im on Rogers I see all the skins & themes but you need Open Home for them to work we have no paid Apps in our market is there someplace I can buy it

So each time I want to use Open Home I have to launch Open Home from the menu!

The last couple of days I have been rearranging my folders and widgets and some of the open home settings.I also changed my background but when I chose the picture I wanted I only got the option of cropping in portrait. Now the background doesn't move from side to side when I change screens.I am assuming it's a setting I changed when I was playing around but I can't find any way of changing it back to the original landscape background that moves from side to side.
View 1 Replies View RelatedThis afternoon, I wiped my phone and am starting from scratch. Lock 2.0 was giving me some issues and with all the installing and uninstalling of app's I've been doing in the past couple of weeks, I just decided to start with a fresh slate.
Before I back and download Lock 2.0 again, I wanted to inquire with others out there on their experience with the App. I love it, but I wasn't sure if I didn't set it up correctly or I didn't understand how the app worked because it never did replace the default lock screen after I installed and configured it. I always had to manually launch it, unlock the screen and then it would take over.
Not exactly what I had in mind for my money. Was thinking it was a full replacement for the default lock screen. Maybe I didn't read the fine print well enough.
Also, what's been the experience with Open Home on the Sprint Hero?
I'll come clean and admit I'm a Mac super-user stuck without an iPhone (I love Sprint!!). I carry my iPod touch and my Hero with me pretty much everywhere. I am LOVING my Hero though! It does exactly what I wanted it to.
I like to get in and customize to the nth degree, but not at the expense of crappy app's that mess up my stuff.
I am about to get my Hero back and was wondering if Open Home & Sense UI played nice together? Will I get to use Open Home & HTC Widgets? I have been using it on my Moment, but not sure if I even need it with my hero, just want to be able to use different icons & skins. Would I be better with Pandahome or DX?
