I have Open Home on my HTC Hero However I cannot set it to be my 'default desktop', so when I click home, it doesnt take me to my personalised Open Home, it takes me instead to the phones standard 'Home Desktop'. So each time I want to use Open Home I have to launch Open Home from the menu!

Ive had open home downloaded for over a month and i only used it for a short period of time before switching back to the default homepage setting. Now, because of the new features added to Open Home i want to switch back, and every time i open 'Open Home' it only opens until i hit the home key. Then it does not ask me what i want to use as my default as it used to. I went to settings>applications>manage applications>open home to clear all defaults but it is not highlighted for me to select it. How can i set Open Home to my default again?

However I like to have the stock browser still be my profile. So what I've done is set up Dolphin to have my work's profile. What I'd like to do is set up a short cut to a bookmark in Dolphin to open in dolphin. Anytime I've set up a shortcut to the URL on the screen it opens up in the stock browser - any way to make a specific shortcut to open a URL in an application of my choosing? I don't know enough of Linux/Android to try and edit some changes. My phone is a Magic (MyTouch3g for you americans) and is running 1.5 with SenseUI and is non-rooted.

At the same time, I see comments about it slowing down the phone significantly or causing all sorts of forced closes, etc.Are most people using and liking Better Android apps? The last couple of days I have been rearranging my folders and widgets and some of the open home settings.I also changed my background but when I chose the picture I wanted I only got the option of cropping in portrait. Now the background doesn't move from side to side when I change screens.I am assuming it's a setting I changed when I was playing around but I can't find any way of changing it back to the original landscape background that moves from side to side.

View 4 Replies View RelatedOk I have been trying to figure this out for a while. I have an application that needs to read images from a folder created by the application on the sdcard. I have no idea what the names of the files are because the user specifies the names of the files. I need to read the images from the folder and make something like the default image viewer, where you can share them delete them and things like that. Im thinking read them into a grid view first but 1) cant figure out how to dynamically read them from a folder 2) how would I implement the image options like the default viewer? If there was a way to open the default viewer on a certain folder that would help.
Anyways any input would be amazing been working on it for a while.
Is there a way or setting to always open the stock ICS email to the All Inboxes view regardless of which account is triggering a notification? If this isn't possible, is there a 3rd party email app that can do this?
