My phone stopped syncing my mail to only one of my two yahoo accounts and I have not received any mail in that account since the 24th . The rotating syncing circle just keeps rotating forever. I have deleted that account multiple times and added it back.If someone knows a solution to this problem please post or f you also have the same issue.Could this be yahoo's problem or a problem with my phone?

Yahoo mail app on phone, it all of a sudden stopped syncing. It refreshes but it is not getting the emails. It is showing emails up until yesterday. I have rebooted phone, force stopped app...nothing.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI like to enter in my work schedule into my phone and let it sync with Google Calendar, but recently, my phone has stopped syncing any newly created entries. I'm not sure what seems to be happening here, but does anyone know how to fix it? The calendar syncs perfectly to my phone when I put new entries in there but not when I enter into my phone. Anyway, I hope someone else has had this problem.

I had been in and out of 3G coverage all day and on Wi-Fi networks 5 times...
I unchecked the "sync" icon on the settings widget, and it seems to be working OK now, but this hasn't ever happened on any of my other Android devices.
I had to do a factory reboot on my phone and hope I didn't goof in regards to my contacts. When I look in gmail, they are all there. However, when I go into my phone and tell it to sync my gmail contacts, I only get two. Any ideas what is going on and what I can do to get them all on my phone from my gmail account?

In Gmail, you can respond to emails as if it was coming from the business email (server). This was a simple sync I had with Blackberry emails. However, I'm finding difficulties setting up the same thing for my new HTC Incredible (Verizon provider).

Now, the app won't retrieve mail from my account. I am looking at my mail app, and dont see the new mail that I am seeing when viewing my in box on my computer. View 14 Replies View RelatedI have had the Hero since October 9 and never had a problem syncing my AOL email with my Hero. I have had it set to sync every 15 minutes and all worked well. About a week ago I started noticing issues with not getting my messages consistently and I started seeing a message below the emails saying "Get More Messages ____ messages total on server" (I don't recall seeing this message before). If the number of messages on the server is greater than what I have on my phone, I can manually sync and they will down load. Sometimes my messages will sync, but not consistently. As I type this I see that I was showing 9 messages and the server had 11 so I manually synced and two more messages downloaded to the phone but they were from over an hour ago. I have tried deleting the account and re-setting it up but that doesn't seem to correct the issue.
(BTW, my exchange messages still sync fine).
Out of the blue, my Gmail contacts stopped synching to my Incredible. Mail works fine, as does my calendar, but the contacts that were there this morning are still there, but the last sync is about 12 hours old. Tried a manual sync and it doesn't sync...just sits there. Using Google Apps Premier and the Gmail contacts sync fine with my Apple Address book, but just not my phone. I was going to delete the Google account and add it again, but when I try that I get a tutorial that the only way I can do that is to reset the phone to factory defaults. I don't want to reinstall all the apps I have on this phone...surely there is something else going on. Any ideas?

I did a soft reset, nothing. Hard reset, nothing. All the setting are the same. It just continuously tries to sync, but never connects. Will I have to set up the account again or what ?

View 4 Replies View RelatedThis isn't a compatibility issue. Okay so when I first installed HTC sync it was fine. I used it to install the latest ROM from T-mobile. I haven't used it since seeing as I didn't really have any need to. But today I though I may as well try it. So I turn my phone on. Plug it in. Drag down the notify bar. HTC sync. Sync now.
Pop-up on my computer says syncing calendar. Then it stops after 2 items. I look at my phone and it says HTC sync stop unexpectedly and I had to force close it. So I go into setting and try using HTC sync from there. But then my computer tells me the connection to my phone has times out. So, I restart my phone this time I get to 4 items. But the same thing happens.
Over the last few days, my Gmail has stopped syncing several times intermittently, with even a manual refresh having no effect. Coincidentally or otherwise, downloads from the Market have been taking absolutely ages to start over roughly the same period. Not sure whether this is connected, but these symptoms started at about the same time that I started getting "Low on space" warnings on status bar - though I still have about 13MB spare - surely enough to sync a few emails and complete small market downloads? Rebooting the phone seems to get Gmail working again, and kicks pending downloads from the market into life as well. Which would seem to indicate that memory is not the issue. This is a stock Desire, with the recent OTA firmware update. I am now also wondering whether this may be linked to that OTA update?

I deleted it and then put it back on the phone and I have the old emails but no new ones will transmit. Any solutions? thoughts? I have two Gmail accounts and one school email app. All of the settings are set to check every 5 minutes. All three email accounts have been syncing fine for the first two days that I have had the phone, but all of a sudden the two Gmail accounts have stopped autosyncing. However, none of the settings have changed. My school email receives all my emails every 5 minutes, but my two Gmail accounts will only get the email once I enter the accounts and do a manual sync. Both of my Gmail accounts are set to IMAP and they are all on the right settings.
View 7 Replies View RelatedOk.. Ive been dorking with my EVO since June 7th and the HTC mail app would not automatically sync. Everytime I would have to go in and do a manual refresh. (Yes I decided I like the HTC mail app over the stock gmail app) Anyway, I deleted the account numerous times and tried everything. I called HTC tonight and the guy had me go into my phone settings "accounts & sync" and go into the google settings and uncheck "Sync gmail". It works like a charm now. No more manual refresh!!! Cannot believe that. But anyways, thought someone may have the same problem and now you know how to fix.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSeveral weeks ago I was using the default mail client and my (free) Yahoo account just randomly disappeared one day. I decided to download K-9 mail and give it a try. Setup was easy and it worked like a charm. No deleted emails coming back, no multiple messages in my sent folder, everything just worked.
That was until a couple days ago. I noticed that I hadn't been getting any email notifications on my Droid through K-9. I opened the app and the last email showing up was from 2/6/2010. I did the refresh and nothing happened. I held down the power button and choose "Power Off". I turned it back on. I went to K-9 did a refresh, it said it was checking my Yahoo account but it didn't retreive any new emails.
When I log onto Yahoo online I have new emails (both read and unread) but none of them are being retrieved by K-9. What is going on?
So I have adjusted the Outgoing server settings from the standard Incredible settings for Yahoo IMAP to ones that are posted for the Motorola Droid, which is the same as (i believe) K-9 and my sent messages do not make it to Yahoo mail.Neither SMTP server setting within HTC mail syncs my sent mail. I am only looking for 1-way (device to server) sync. I don't expect 2-way sync.Both K-9 Mail and ROID mail are able to sync sent messages.
