View 9 RepliesMy phone is telling me my internal storage is nearly full, whereas I have a 4gb microsd card which is not being used.
How do I move my applications to the SD card (or how do I have my apps automatically install there in the future)
I am running WW 4.6 right now and i did a titanium back up to try out one of the new Froyo ROM. I didn't like it so i tried to n android restore back to WW and that wouldn't even work. So i re flashed WW and tried to reinstall my apps and it says "not enough memory" or something along those lines every time i try to reinstall an app.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am trying to figure out what the advantage is to installing to the SD rather than to built in storage.Since my phone has 8GB of internal storage, apps are small, and videos/music are big, wouldn't it make more sense to install the apps to the internal memory, and store media to a 32GB micro sdhc?

View 3 Replies View RelatedWell o this is my 3rd android device that I had used and for some reason I see something weird when I download and app and install from the market, the phone slow downs in the progress, my Samsung moment never slow done at all always kept the same speed downloading up to 4 apps and this one does it only with 1 and up, is there something wrong with my phone or is just like that cause of sense UI.
View 6 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to install / and or move all the apps to the SD Card and not the phones memory on the evo's?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI KNOW this is a dumb question because it depends on which apps, etc. But I figured it was obvious enough that somebody would know it off the top of their heads. I'm installing quite a few apps. As far s I can tell they are going into a system file on the phone itself, not the SD card. How much internal memory does this phone have? I don't know that spec. I was all about the processor and camera.

View 9 Replies View RelatedNew to android and EVO. Do I have to root my phone to install apps from Market or Appbrain are there just certain apps that require rooting?
View 4 Replies View RelatedThe X is my first Android phone, and I am loving it. Night and day difference from the Storm I had. I have installed some free apps from the market. I am, however, unable to install any paid apps. I have tried a couple different ones so far. One was Beautiful Widgets and the other was Tapa talk. After selecting the Buy Now button, it prompts you to log in to your Google account. I do this and then it asks what you want to sync, not sure why that comes up. But then after selecting next, it just goes right back to the app with the Buy Now option. Anyone else seen this that can tell me what I am doing wrong?
View 12 Replies View RelatedDuring the last few days I've been unable to update or install any apps on my UK Nexus 1. I keep getting "Download Unsuccessful"This did coincide with me switching to Gmail instead of Google Mail but I switched it back and things still don't work so I don't think that this is the answer. I have plenty of room on the phone & SD card.

I tried to update my angry birds and adobe air. My htc desire was fine during the download, but then when it started installing, my phone would say update successfulness. The same thing happened when i tried to install some new apps.
So I got my N1 today and installed apps w/ no problem. After I manually updated to 2.2, whenever I try and download an app it says "Sorry, there's not enough space to install this item." If I go to settings, SD Card & phone storage settings, it says I have 158MB available space under Internal phone storage. So I have plenty of room to install things, what's the deal?

View 10 Replies View RelatedOver the last 6 months, I've bought several applications through the market without any problems. Yesterday, I bought Camera Zoom FX which downloaded just fine. But after downloading, it's been stuck at "Installing." in the Download-section of my Market. It sais "Purchased" in the upper right corner (as usual) and I've received the receipt through e-mail. I tried to install another app afterwards, and that worked just fine. Its about 24 hours since I purchased the app now, but it's still trying to install. I've rebooted the phone at least 5 times, cleared the Market-cache before and after rebooting. I've even tried to remove my SD-card just in case.If I click and hold the application in the Market-app, the only choice I get is "Details", not "Uninstall" and the other options I usually get. When I go to the apps details, the button at the bottom is greyed out and says "Installing..". This means I can't cancel the installation or choose uninstall.
My Hero has the official 2.1 version (fully updated) without root or other modifications.I've looked through the forum several times, including what seems to be relevant posts, but I can't seem to find any real solution for this problem. Anyone know how I can fix this? I think it's really strange that Android doesn't have any form of time-out or something for this..
i tried installing a themed news and weather widget to system/app and it's not working properly. it's not showing up on the phone under widgets or in the app launcher. it's not showing up in root explorer in system/app even though it said it was pasted there. it shows up in applications in the settings menu but force closes when clicked on. i also can't install it in data now either. so right now the app is kind of in limbo.
