I am running WW 4.6 right now and i did a titanium back up to try out one of the new Froyo ROM. I didn't like it so i tried to n android restore back to WW and that wouldn't even work. So i re flashed WW and tried to reinstall my apps and it says "not enough memory" or something along those lines every time i try to reinstall an app.

When i download app from market it says they downloaded but installation unsuccessfull it reads "insufficient storage available".My SD card has free space of 6.5 gig.can someone steer me in the right direction?

It's been like this for a few days now.Any idea what the problem could be? Everything else works great just can't download apps anymore.
View 4 Replies View RelatedJust manually upgraded to the 2.1 OTA from stock 1.5. Did a factory reset prior to upgrade. Everything seems to be working fine except that I get this error message when trying to install any app:
Installation error: Insufficient storage available
When I check the phone storage settings I see this:
SD Card: 7.39GB total space - 7.27GB available space
Internal phone storage: 136MB
Also, I'm noticing that the "Format SD Card" option is greyed out.
Is there a way to initially install the apps on the SD card instead of internal memory?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI installed MR2 a few days ago rather than waiting on the OTA update. Now I can't download a couple paid apps from the Market that I had previously paid for. WeatherBug Elite is one of them, it doesn't even show up when I do a search in the Market.
Some searching turned up a similar issue on other HTC devices on another carrier, something about an OS foot print? Is there a way to get around this? It's pretty obnoxious.
My phone is telling me my internal storage is nearly full, whereas I have a 4gb microsd card which is not being used.
How do I move my applications to the SD card (or how do I have my apps automatically install there in the future)
This happens on all roms and I also wipe. I can only seem to install apps if the SD card is not inserted. On cm6 when I change the default install place to internal apps atill can't insall

View 7 Replies View RelatedFor the last few days i have several apps that dont want to install, or uninstall, or update.I tried deleting them via appbrain, and that hasnt changed anything, i tried canceling their updates or installs in the market, but that hasnt worked,i tried shutting the phone off, i tried a battery pull.every time though when i boot back up these 4 apps keep trying to install and i cant seem to cancel them no matter what, any ideas?

I'm installing quite a few apps. As far s I can tell they are going into a system file on the phone itself, not the SD card. How much internal memory does this phone have? I don't know that spec. Tried out EE 2.1 I think, but kinda crashed a lot on me, and froze up a bunch, so I just went back to the nandroid backup of the basic and stuck with it. That was like 2 months ago, and I thought maybe now, I should actually try out a real ROM. Now that EE 3.0 is up, I want to give it another shot. The question in all this crap is if I need to flash EE 2.0, and 2.1 to flash 3.0?

View 13 Replies View RelatedHope you guys can help. Since the 2.1 update I have certain apps which appear to be opening in the background when I didn't open them. I have Advanced Task Killer, and when I go in for example it shows Messages running, when I kill it, it will reappear in 30 secs or so, the same with MP3 store. Can these apps be stopped so they don't take up memory or what's the deal here. Thanks for any help.

View 4 Replies View RelatedThe X is my first Android phone, and I am loving it. Night and day difference from the Storm I had. I have installed some free apps from the market. I am, however, unable to install any paid apps. I have tried a couple different ones so far. One was Beautiful Widgets and the other was Tapa talk. After selecting the Buy Now button, it prompts you to log in to your Google account. I do this and then it asks what you want to sync, not sure why that comes up. But then after selecting next, it just goes right back to the app with the Buy Now option. Anyone else seen this that can tell me what I am doing wrong?

Issue:
I tried to update my angry birds and adobe air. My htc desire was fine during the download, but then when it started installing, my phone would say update successfulness. The same thing happened when i tried to install some new apps.
So I got my N1 today and installed apps w/ no problem. After I manually updated to 2.2, whenever I try and download an app it says "Sorry, there's not enough space to install this item." If I go to settings, SD Card & phone storage settings, it says I have 158MB available space under Internal phone storage. So I have plenty of room to install things, what's the deal?
