May 17, 2010I know the hd2 battery is not as strong, but im looking for a simple extra battery to have, i saw one on ebay for a hd2 wanted to see if it will be a fit or not. Anybody know?

Jun 19, 2010I love the phone, its amazing. and it's one and only flaw really is the battery life. I struggle to get through a day with quite a few power saving things on it but anyway, would this battery designed for the nexus one work for the desire? Seidio 3200 mAh Extended Battery for Google Nexus One on eBay (end time 08-Jul-10 17:05:29 BST) the only reason i'm so sceptical is because it would involve a new case and I'm not sure if a case designed for nexus one would fit the desire. it not, are there any other batteries or really small portable chargers for the desire?

Oct 26, 2010i was reading some articles about improving battery. one tip was to go to the dialer and do *#*#4636#*#* and wait and then it will take u to a screen where u go to phone info and hit menu and change the network from gsm to cdma. i tried this and when i entered the numbers into the dialer it didnt do anything. the thread was from june so does this not work anymore?

Nov 3, 2010My coworker has the Evo 4G, while i have the verizon droid x. It seems that his battery life drains really fast with the phone mostly at idle all day. I am pretty efficient on my X not really used to the HTC sense (last HTC phone i had was the Eris). Any tips to help him get better battery life? I normally get a day and a half, as much as two days between charges. Where he has to keep a charger at work?

Aug 24, 2010With the recent short battery life issues occuring since the OTA, my phone is lucky to make it a day with minimal use. I am taking a trip in about two weeks to vegas and plan on using my phone heavily there for pictures and what not, so I wanted to pick up a spare battery to take with me. VZW online store is sold out of the standard D1 batteries currently but has D2 in stock and it shows the same stock part number. However the D2, according to the description uses 1420maH where as the D1 uses 1400maH. This is greek to me. I remember reading a post recently where the extended battery for the D2 was working well with the D1 and I was just curious if anyone knows if the same will apply for the standard battery.

Downloaded 2 dozen games and apps. Finally got low battery warning around 9:30 pm. so 11.5 hrs of use. but i was sweating the last hour while coming back from work. It'd be nice if seido sells some extended 1750 MaH battery.

Oct 15, 2010i just bought the official extended battery for the Droid x off of the verizon online store. the battery worked fine for the first day i bought it and now it makes my phone randomly shut off when i am using it. i can use my phone for about 5 - 10 minutes before the battery causes it to shut off randomly. i have no idea why it does this because it says the battery is fully charged and i had it in the charger over night and it still does this. i feel like i have wasted 50$ on this battery and i cant even use it now. does any one know if there is a way i can fix this?

Nov 9, 2013I have a sprint GNex. I just started having this problem recently (but before the 4.3 update). I plug my phone in overnight and at some point in the middle of the night an error occurs that make the phone think it is off the charger and has a fully depleted battery. The battery level icon shows no charge and if I pull the phone off the charger it immediately says it has to shut down due to a low battery. However, as soon as I turn it back on it is back to normal with a full charge.

HTC Incredible :: Phone Gets Hot In Window Mount / Can This Cause Damage To Phone - Battery?
May 31, 2010I recently bought a window mount off ebay for my Inc and have been loving listening to Pandora and using the Navigation program while driving.
This weekend I drove a couple of hours back and forth to see a friend and both times I had issues with the amber notification light starting to blink. I had the phone plugged into the Verizon car charger. Could it be that the battery was getting too hot and this was the phones way of notifying me? I live in Florida so it would make sense that the phone was getting rather warm in the window mount.
Anybody else have this issue?
Can this cause any damage to the phone or the battery? Am I OK as long as I pull the phone down out of the heat whenever I notice this happening?
