Ill be getting the extended battery from verizon when its available, just wanted to pick something with a little more juice for a cheap price:

do you think it would work for the Ally?
i have a droid eris,im thinking of getting an incredible.can somebody tell me if they have made the same switch and if the battery life is better, the same or worse to the eris. i realize this will very by user im hoping to find some eris users that switched. but if you have a incredible and want to tell me your opinion on the battery life, fine by me. i use mine on and off some phone calls,some texts, some emails and check facebook a couple times a day.some times more sometimes less. as long as i dont use my pandora radio i make it through the day before i need a charge, but i always charge at night.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI am making the jump from a Palm Treo to the Incredible. Came very very close to getting the Droid and then a friend told me to hold out for the Incredible. From everything that I am reading I am really glad that I have waited. Anyway, I use AOL and gmail. How is it expected these email accounts will work with the Incredible? Will I get instant notification of a new email, will I have to set it up to check each account for a time frame I specify or will I manually have to open the email and check it? I know that this may be a basic question, however on my Palm I have to manually go into my email and download messages.

Gameloft Gangstar: West Coast Hustle works well as a GTA clone. Menu is glitchy when driving but game works ok. Can run over pedestrians.
Gameloft Dungeon Hunter works well as a hack and slash dungeon game. This is the best working game right now.
Sandstorm however - nothing but grief. At least so far.
Tried Quake 1 on the phone but the controls are terrible and can't cheat so it sucked. Have not seen working doom or duke nukem ports.
I have ordered my Incredible, and will be ordering a battery and charger before it gets here so I need your advice on what to buy so I can start playing the minute it arrives.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy battery life was bad, but it was OK, but in the past few days my battery life is 10% per 30minutes(Just over 5 hours on a charge).I used to get 8-10 hours on a charge.I noticed last week that while it was charging the status of the battery was "Overheat".I think I somehow cooked the battery?I use TaskKiller and kill 95% of apps automatically, I have bluetooth,wireless,GPS disabled and the screen dimmed.I have not changed or installed any new apps.I have not changed the way I use the phone at all.My battery was dead, 0%, and it charged to 95% in about 45 minutes.Is this even possible?In fact in the past two days I have not gotten the charge above 95% at all.

It's always been buggy, ie a message comes in and it won't download the first time and normally I have to go into the messaging app for it to work right. But yesterday I sent an MMS and my friend didn't get it. I tried again with another person and same thing. Then today another friend sent me an MMS and I can't open it in Handcent or Messaging. I'm rooted with Virtuous Rom.PS - Now the message just says downloading on Handcent and on the Messages app and I can't cancel it to retry. Just sits there forever.

So I downloaded the APK and tried to install it, and the OS thinks it's there, but will permit neither launching nor uninstalling. I can find my phone under devices but it has nothing listed under device function or bluetooth services. I was able to send my phone a file from my computer via bluetooth. My phone also says under bluetooth devices it's paired but not conectected to my computer. I'm running windows 7. Anybody have any ideal?
View 12 Replies View RelatedI listen to a large number of podcasts weekly. I use to download them to my computer and then transfer them to a folder on my Moto Droid called PODCASTS. This folder would show up under PLAYLISTS in the native android music player. This makes it very easy to listen to one podcast after the other. The HTC music player does not work this way. I drop a bunch of podcasts into a PODCAST folder and they are scattered throughout the music app. Has anyone found a way to put files directly in a playlist when accessing the device as a drive?

I have logged into my goggle account on both. Ironically, I it does work with the "Fox to phone", a fire fox add-on with the same functionality.
