My highest bitrate for 720p video on my class 6 card is 6Mbps.
Class 2 = 2MBps write = 16Mbps
So no need to get a class 6 card, they are not worth double the price of a class 2.

What can I do if 16gb micro sdhc class 10 cannot be formatted?
I just recently bought this, then during pasting data on it, i think it got disconnected.
so now it won't work and can't be formatted. I can return it to the seller but I'm outside of US so I'm leaving this as my last option.
Looking at the Sandisk Mobile Ultra micro SDHC 8GB card for my Eris. Is it worth switching?

I'm generally wondering if a slot labelled "microSD" will accept a micro SDHC card (as opposed to a micro SD card). I know, for example, that some older memory card readers won't read the SDHC cards, even if they have an SD slot. I'm not sure about the tablets however.
Example of some of the tablets that I'd be interested in knowing this about are: Acer Iconia A700 or A210, and Toshiba Excite.
I don't really understand the difference, except one is cheaper than the other. I assume the Desire takes both, but does it really matter. I know my laptop can read both, but my desktop can't read the sdhc ones, i guess it's too old!

View 49 Replies View RelatedAs I had a Nokia N85 laying around, containing a 8GB micro SDHC class 6 memory card, I was planning on using this on my desire, since that only came with a 4gb card. However, I formatted the 8GB card in windows, (to fat 32). (I've might have formatted the partitions and everything as well). But either the Desire or PC cant find my SD card at this point. When I put the 8gb card into my N85 and then connect the N85 to my PC, the computer finds it. My N85 has no problem locating the SD card either. What to I have to do to the SD card to be able to use it with my Desire?

I would like to get a larger capacity card and while shopping for it I noticed that some of them are just micro SD and some are micro SDHC. The user manual I downloaded from the HTC website has not specification on the type of SD card that are supported. Can someone tell me if the phone I have works with both types or can I only use micro SD card?

No jumping and clear, in sync sound. 720p resolution so the HDMI out should work once the cables are available. h.264 at Level 3.1, 3 reference frames and baseline profile. 1280 x 720 AAC stereo audio at 44100Hz, 128kbps Bit rate does not seem to be all that important as long as the video file is less than 2GB.Muxed to an mp4 container in IMSA standard format and optimized for streaming.
