What can I do if 16gb micro sdhc class 10 cannot be formatted?
I just recently bought this, then during pasting data on it, i think it got disconnected.
so now it won't work and can't be formatted. I can return it to the seller but I'm outside of US so I'm leaving this as my last option.

I don't really understand the difference, except one is cheaper than the other. I assume the Desire takes both, but does it really matter. I know my laptop can read both, but my desktop can't read the sdhc ones, i guess it's too old!
View 5 Replies View RelatedI tried formatting my 16gb micro sd card for my new Incredible and when formatting was complete my card says I only have 1.83gb of total space on the card. I tried downloading the sd card formatting tool from Home - SD Association hoping it would fix the problem but it doesnt. I tried formatting by syncing my phone to my dell laptop and by the card reader on my laptop and still no solution.

So no need to get a class 6 card, they are not worth double the price of a class 2.

View 6 Replies View RelatedAs I had a Nokia N85 laying around, containing a 8GB micro SDHC class 6 memory card, I was planning on using this on my desire, since that only came with a 4gb card. However, I formatted the 8GB card in windows, (to fat 32). (I've might have formatted the partitions and everything as well). But either the Desire or PC cant find my SD card at this point. When I put the 8gb card into my N85 and then connect the N85 to my PC, the computer finds it. My N85 has no problem locating the SD card either. What to I have to do to the SD card to be able to use it with my Desire?

I'm generally wondering if a slot labelled "microSD" will accept a micro SDHC card (as opposed to a micro SD card). I know, for example, that some older memory card readers won't read the SDHC cards, even if they have an SD slot. I'm not sure about the tablets however.
Example of some of the tablets that I'd be interested in knowing this about are: Acer Iconia A700 or A210, and Toshiba Excite.
My Phone will be back from repairing This week and I need new Microsd card. I want 16Gb 4 or 6 Class. Maybe you could recommend something?

I would like to get a larger capacity card and while shopping for it I noticed that some of them are just micro SD and some are micro SDHC. The user manual I downloaded from the HTC website has not specification on the type of SD card that are supported. When I try to access the card via my PC it just wants to format it but when I bring up the format window the PC only sees 30MB and a format of FAT. The Properties show it formatted as RAW. The Error Notification I get is: Blank SD Card - SD Card blank or has unsupported file system. Is my card fried or is there a way out of this?

My HTC Desire VC (T328d) was rooted and running Android OS 4.0.3 (ics).
In recovery mode, I accidentally formatted /system folder (from internal phone memory). This is because the recovery mode is all in chinese language and I did a huge mistake.The phone cannot boot showing HTC logo screen and no boot sound.
I've downloaded the kernel for this device at htcdev.com.I can enter recovery mode. My friend has the same device and his is not rooted yet.
Does anyone know if the X10 supports micro SD HC versions? Or only the normal micro SD?
