I put a 32 GB SanDisk micro card in my Phone and it works perfectly. I have net free space on external SD card of 29.29 GB available space.

Class 2 = 2MBps write = 16Mbps
So no need to get a class 6 card, they are not worth double the price of a class 2.
What can I do if 16gb micro sdhc class 10 cannot be formatted?
I just recently bought this, then during pasting data on it, i think it got disconnected.
so now it won't work and can't be formatted. I can return it to the seller but I'm outside of US so I'm leaving this as my last option.

View 17 Replies View RelatedI am trying to add an 'Android Library project' I have created to another regular Android project. The Library Project had a jar dependency and was also dependent on another java project in my workspace. I had to add both of these to the my 'regular Android project' because otherwise Eclipse could not find them (Not sure if this was the right thing to do because it would mean that I will have to manually update all projects when the library gets another jar dependency). Anyway, the errors went away and now the Regular Android Project can't find the R class, I have tried a clean but it did not work. I checked in the /gen folder and both the R classes are there - from the library and the regular project. They have the correct strings inside them.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am working through a facebook-sdk example and trying to utilize the collection of classes as provided as a .JAR. I am relatively new to java and eclipse so I expect I am making some obvious blunder.
The issue is that everything seems to compile fine, but when I run the project (using the android emulator) dalvik vm is unable to find the first class I reference from this facebook sdk. ( com/facebook/android/Facebook.class )
As an aside, if I copy the source directly into my project as an additional package everything works fine.
Step 1: I exported the com_facebook_android project as a .JAR file. ( right click project, export, java / jar file ) I choose c:datajagjar as my location to save facebooksdk.jar.
Step 2: I hit properties on the project HelloGoogleMaps, Selected Java Build Path, Libraries, Add External JARS... I the directly selected the c:datajagjarfacebooksdk.jar file.
At this point my project seems to be building just fine ( no errors ).
Step 3: Debug the project and receive the error:
CODE:.................
The error I receive is, "android.content.ActivityNotFoundException: Unable to find explicit activity class {com.droidea.birthday/ EditBirthdayActivity}; have you declared this activity in your AndroidManifest.xml?"
The error seems simple enough, but I don't see a problem with the way I have identified this activity in my manifest file. I have also been unable to see any problems with the activity class itself..............
I want to specifically run the default Android browser for a given URL. I'm using this code: I also tried adding <uses-library android:name="com.google.android.browser" /> to the manifest. Am I missing something here? PS: I'm not interested in using startActivity(new Intent(Intent.ACTION_VIEW, Uri.parse("http://www.google.com"))) as it will list all the choices for the browsing Intent.

View 3 Replies View RelatedMost of the specs for tablets which have a micro SD media slot do not give any details about it. I'm generally wondering if a slot labelled "microSD" will accept a micro SDHC card (as opposed to a micro SD card). I know, for example, that some older memory card readers won't read the SDHC cards, even if they have an SD slot. I'm not sure about the tablets however.
Example of some of the tablets that I'd be interested in knowing this about are: Acer Iconia A700 or A210, and Toshiba Excite.
I'm looking to upgrade my microSD from the default 2gb and am looking at either 8gb or 16gb. I'm also thinking of getting a class 4 or 6 card, if it will boost performance. So my question is, based on your experience, is the boost in performance significant or is it just something that registers a difference in benchmark testings (but makes no practical difference)?

View 2 Replies View Relatedso the sprint htc hero came with a 2gb sd card right.i have another 4gb one and i want to use that one instead. question is do i just COPY everything over from the 2gb sd card to the 4gb sd card?i tried searching already but maybe i didn't use the right keywords?i typed sd card and all i saw was people asking if it will fit 16gb or 32gb's.
View 11 Replies View RelatedLooking at greatly expanding my SD storage. It is clear that the Sprint Hero requires an SD device that meets the SD 2.0 specification. That is a given.
The question I have is about SD speed (class) and size (up to 32GB max).
I am wondering if there is noticable speed difference between Class 2 and Class 6 cards on internal or external transfers? Where do we see any difference? Internal - such as photo or file transfers between folders on the card? External - file transfers to and from the SD card set up as a USB device?
Then the possible variable (if it is) of card size? I am still running the stock 2GB card that came with my Hero. I want to go to 16GB. Does "size matter"? ---
Anybody run any experiments to measure speed and function? Photos, files, etc?
I tried to make a goldcard for rooting my HTC Hero (Three UK with latest ROM) over the weekend, but had no luck - it seems the memory card I own (an 8gb Kingston card from ebay, so may be a fake) doesn't work.
Can anyone recommend a memory card brand & size that will *definitely* work for creating a goldcard?
I have spoken to SanDisk and have an RMA to send my 64 GB SanDisk Ultra Micro SD card back for a replacement.
I have tried pretty much everything I can... I have roughly 35GB of assorted Pictures, Movies, Music, and Videos on my SD card that I need to send back to SanDisk. I have no option to "Delete" anything thru windows. I've tried thru Dos and it tells me every file is dirty. I also get the file is locked. I've been able to overwrite the data and delete it thru my phone but it just reappears when the device is restarted. It's almost like all of the files are imprinted on the card and there is nothing that can be done.
Anyway, I've searched high and dry thru google and I've had no luck.
There are some pictures and other files on the SD Card that I would like others not to see, is there a way that I may not have tried to either delete these files or somehow corrupt the files? My laptop didn't recognize the SD card and wanted to format the remaining 25 GB but never got off of zero. Everything I run tells me the drive is dirty with the exception of CHKDSK
What SanDisk or other card companies do with returns like mine? Do they "test" or "review" the card and possibly look at what's on the card? Do they just toss it?
i have had this happen a few times. i lose my data on my card which pisses me off. i can only assume it might be from when i swap batteries during the day? i never had this happen on other devices when swapping batteries with an sd card in the phone
