I don't really understand the difference, except one is cheaper than the other. I assume the Desire takes both, but does it really matter. I know my laptop can read both, but my desktop can't read the sdhc ones, i guess it's too old!

What can I do if 16gb micro sdhc class 10 cannot be formatted?
I just recently bought this, then during pasting data on it, i think it got disconnected.
so now it won't work and can't be formatted. I can return it to the seller but I'm outside of US so I'm leaving this as my last option.
As I had a Nokia N85 laying around, containing a 8GB micro SDHC class 6 memory card, I was planning on using this on my desire, since that only came with a 4gb card. However, I formatted the 8GB card in windows, (to fat 32). (I've might have formatted the partitions and everything as well). But either the Desire or PC cant find my SD card at this point. When I put the 8gb card into my N85 and then connect the N85 to my PC, the computer finds it. My N85 has no problem locating the SD card either. What to I have to do to the SD card to be able to use it with my Desire?

I'm generally wondering if a slot labelled "microSD" will accept a micro SDHC card (as opposed to a micro SD card). I know, for example, that some older memory card readers won't read the SDHC cards, even if they have an SD slot. I'm not sure about the tablets however.
Example of some of the tablets that I'd be interested in knowing this about are: Acer Iconia A700 or A210, and Toshiba Excite.
I currently own a class2 16gb sdhc card and was wondering if it will be fast enough for what the EVO can do.

Class 2 = 2MBps write = 16Mbps
So no need to get a class 6 card, they are not worth double the price of a class 2.
I have a Google I/O phone which came with the original 2 GB micro SD card. I would like to get a larger capacity card and while shopping for it I noticed that some of them are just micro SD and some are micro SDHC. The user manual I downloaded from the HTC website has not specification on the type of SD card that are supported. Can someone tell me if the phone I have works with both types or can I only use micro SD card?

I tried downloading the sd card formatting tool from Home - SD Association hoping it would fix the problem but it doesnt. I tried formatting by syncing my phone to my dell laptop and by the card reader on my laptop and still no solution.

I've had it on for the last 16 hours and although the light goes orange and the little battery animates as though it's charging it hasn't budged since I put it on... I'm just wondering what people find is the best way to transfer music/files onto the Micro SD? I've tried connecting the phone via USB and also placing the Micro SD into a card reader and connecting directly to the PC that way. However, with both methods I get the same fault. When I place the card back into the phone, or disconnect the USB I get the 'Preparing SD Card' message, followed by 'The SD Card is damaged' with my only option to format the card and start all over again.
