Does anybody know if any of the existing cases for HTC phones will fit an EVO? I will be purchasing EVO and have already purchased a screen protector.I am thinking I will want one of those rubberized or silicone cases too.I dropped my Pre within an hour of buying it.I will pass out if I do that with the EVO.I have googled with no success.

Are there any HIGH QUALITY cases for the EVO available NOW? IMO cases from Otterbox and Case Mate are the best. However, NEITHER manufacturer has a case that is available NOW. I am tired of waiting. Anybody got a GREAT case? Please reply.

I prefer a slip on one but as we know the Legend's weird (but wonderful) shape makes it quite frustrating to get a case. I, sadly, have already scratched a bit of my Legend and need a case before it gets worse!

View 25 Replies View RelatedSo I bought my LG ally and the sales rep walked out with a bunch of cases and asked my favorite color. I chose the clear one. I love the sales rep to death cause he is actually a really good friend, however, I don't feel safe with the cheap-feeling plastic case. Its the clear one that flexes alot and stuff. DOes it really protect it?I had the body glove on my old env touch and, while working on a 3 story roof on the phone, dropped it and it landed straight on concrete. Walked down, picked it up and finished my call. On the other hand, I drop my ally out of my car on accident and the case simply falls off.if theres no benefit, i'm just going to take it off as it looks dumb.

2. I was registered my handler in on Create() and unregistering in on Destroy, what is the behavior if other thread sends messages to the registrants after the activity was killed by android without calling on Destroy. I know that those handler were not removed by GC as they are still referring by the thread.
3. Also suggest me to handle the above situations.
Does anyone know where we can buy Gel/rubber skins or some sort of cases that were actually made for the Droid?I've been looking everywhere. Usually Walmart (where i got my phone) sell the accessories for the phones they sell, but they dont for the droid.I really would like a working gel skin for it.but it says it wont ship til the 16th, and i'd rather get it much sooner.Im having such a hard time finding any accessories. AH! Nothing local has them.the official Motorola droid site seems broken. Shows gel's and stuff for the phone, but cant ever find them on the store page after you click the image.
View 4 Replies View RelatedIs it just me or are there no cases once you get an extended battery. Sendo adds 4mm and the OEM adds 1mm. I am guessing that you have the choice between the battery or a case. I wonder if a flexible case like the tough case would have a problem with a 1mm difference. View 1 Replies View RelatedI was in the Verizon store and got a nice ugly orange hard case for it, and we had trouble clipping the piece on the front. We tried it on the demo and it wouldn't work. No big deal..just a bad mold, it happens. I decide to plop it down and get an Otterbox. Same deal. Tried that one on the demo, and it fit. We go back and open a couple more and try them, same deal. The orange one was defective, but the others were not and fit the demo as well as his own personal phone. Our only assumption can be that there is something wrong with the molding on my Droid, not allowing anything to clip on.

When I got the phone I wasn't using a case and the thing locked on to GPS right away. Then I purchased that clear plastic case at&t is selling in their stores. GPS was fine but I hated the case so today I returned it to get the rubber body glove one that was being sold. Tonight I tried using the GPS and suddenly it's not locking on, and when it does lock on it's way off...

I just ordered two new Motorola Droid's on sunday, they're due to get here on wednesday so i've been killing time looking at accessories. Just had a couple of quick questions. Keep in mind we're looking for the *gel* cases for the droid.I know that OEM skins/cases will cost more than the bargain skins/cases on ebay I'm guessing that some of the gel cases that cost more have had some more thought put into them and are probably higher quality (get what you pay for maybe?). I'm basically looking for personal recommendations for a brand or a website that sells GOOD QUALITY gel cases.I'm trying to avoid having to return something because it turns out that the gel case covers up the flash, the keys on the slide out keyboard, or wont allow the phone to be used in the car dock.. That kind of thing. Anyone have any success stories they can share?

View 10 Replies View RelatedThe case below came with my Sprint HTC Mogul 3 years ago and it's the best case I've ever had, i used it with the Mogul, Diamond, Touch Pro, and now with my Touch Pro2. The TP2 is stretching it already so I know I'm going to need a new case. Just wondering if there's a case out there that has the following features:
-magnetic enclosure
-no swivel
-horizontal orientation
-small flap (easier to flip open)
-holes at the corner or middle (to easily push the phone out of the case)

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an HTC holster that I used for the last year. The Droid JUST fits into it. However, I kept having the Droid come on in my holster and it was driving me batty how it would unlock on it's own. Then it hit me. The holster clips shut MAGNETICALLY.The Droid thought it was in a multimedia dock so it stayed on while on my side.THAT's why my battery was draining so fast.So, be sure to get a velcro or other type of holster, nothing with magnets.
