As i said we NEED otterbox cases for sprint prefable for the Htc evo 4g i hate my crappy bulky case that i bought for 40$usd at best buy. anyone know of a case with a extended batters in the case like for the iphone? or a thin case thats thick up top to protect the lens and show the htc symbol.

View 11 Replies View RelatedThe case below came with my Sprint HTC Mogul 3 years ago and it's the best case I've ever had, i used it with the Mogul, Diamond, Touch Pro, and now with my Touch Pro2. The TP2 is stretching it already so I know I'm going to need a new case. Just wondering if there's a case out there that has the following features:
-magnetic enclosure
-no swivel
-horizontal orientation
-small flap (easier to flip open)
-holes at the corner or middle (to easily push the phone out of the case)
Which cases will Best Buy and Sprint stores offer on launch day? Any photos of them?

I was registered my handler in on Create() and unregistering in on Destroy, what is the behavior if other thread sends messages to the registrants after the activity was killed by android without calling on Destroy. I know that those handler were not removed by GC as they are still referring by the thread.
3. Also suggest me to handle the above situations.
I guess ur doing it correctly.While running the test cases already provided by the PVcore,one can only see the logs and not the output on the screen or the speaker. This is what my experience says.Other people who worked on this can confirm.

View 11 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to integrate google search widget, but met a problem when retrieving keywords from google search widget. It only has problem in the following scenario:
1. Launch my application, and click back. 2. Enter keyword in google search widget, i..e 'a', and launch it. Everything works fine. 3. Press Home. 4. Enter keyword in google search widget, i..e 'b', and launch it. But my application still got 'a' from getIntent() method.
The problem seems to be caused by activity life cycle. For step.4, only onRestart -> onStart -> onResume -> ... is called so that I can't get the launching intent from google search widget. The bug goes away if I finish my application in onStop method. (But it will cause problem for landscape<-> portraint switch since onStop is also invoked when switching screen). Is there any way to get the query string from google search widget for this scenario? Or did I miss any setting in AndroidManifest.xml?
Are there any HIGH QUALITY cases for the EVO available NOW? IMO cases from Otterbox and Case Mate are the best. However, NEITHER manufacturer has a case that is available NOW. I am tired of waiting. Anybody got a GREAT case? Please reply.

I love the sales rep to death cause he is actually a really good friend, however, I don't feel safe with the cheap-feeling plastic case. Its the clear one that flexes alot and stuff. DOes it really protect it?I had the body glove on my old env touch and, while working on a 3 story roof on the phone, dropped it and it landed straight on concrete. Walked down, picked it up and finished my call. On the other hand, I drop my ally out of my car on accident and the case simply falls off.if theres no benefit, i'm just going to take it off as it looks dumb.

Usually Walmart (where i got my phone) sell the accessories for the phones they sell, but they dont for the droid.I really would like a working gel skin for it.but it says it wont ship til the 16th, and i'd rather get it much sooner.Im having such a hard time finding any accessories. AH! Nothing local has them.the official Motorola droid site seems broken. Shows gel's and stuff for the phone, but cant ever find them on the store page after you click the image.
View 4 Replies View RelatedIs it just me or are there no cases once you get an extended battery. Sendo adds 4mm and the OEM adds 1mm. I am guessing that you have the choice between the battery or a case. I wonder if a flexible case like the tough case would have a problem with a 1mm difference. View 1 Replies View RelatedI was in the Verizon store and got a nice ugly orange hard case for it, and we had trouble clipping the piece on the front. We tried it on the demo and it wouldn't work. No big deal..just a bad mold, it happens. I decide to plop it down and get an Otterbox. Same deal. Tried that one on the demo, and it fit. We go back and open a couple more and try them, same deal. The orange one was defective, but the others were not and fit the demo as well as his own personal phone. Our only assumption can be that there is something wrong with the molding on my Droid, not allowing anything to clip on.

When I got the phone I wasn't using a case and the thing locked on to GPS right away. Then I purchased that clear plastic case at&t is selling in their stores. GPS was fine but I hated the case so today I returned it to get the rubber body glove one that was being sold. Tonight I tried using the GPS and suddenly it's not locking on, and when it does lock on it's way off...
Anyone else experiencing this?
