Lately the phone just starts vibrating and won't stop (no calls, no msgs). I have to take the battery out and leave it out for a while. If I try to put it back to soon it starts vibrating again.

Updated my phone to 1.47 or whatever it is. Now my phone won't stop vibrating when I get a notification. Volume is up. Vibrate for everything is off. Haptic feedback is off...Rebooted twice...

My gmail password is right and it still won't sign me in.it take a whole minute to call anyone on my phone list, I miss calls, when I go to answer my phone after two rings it ends call. And last but not least, my assigned ring tones don't play for my contacts, it only plays the default. I have tried everything. I'm wondering if i should take it to Verizon and get a new one.

I will try to be as brief as possible... I have published a very simple android application it's name is "Vib-e-rator PRO". It's purpose is obvious, it can be used as a masssage vibrator or as an erotic stimulator...
My Problem is don't have an Android Phone to test my app in real time.
I have been recieving mixed comments from people. A few users say its working fine. But majority of them complained that the Phone would n quit vibrating even after the closing application.
Later i speculated that when ever the user switched off the vibrator and quit the app it would work as expected. If any user (most of em) directly closed the application ( either through the close option provided in the app itself or by pressing the END button in the phone ) without switching off the vibrator then it would not stop vibrating.
So i added myvib.Cancel() (myvib is the context for Phone Vibrator) in the exit block the close option provided in my app. For the other scenario, when it is closed by pressing the END button in phone, i have no idea how to solve it... So friends please advice me what is necessary to do... The comments i have been receiving from many users of my app is really embarassing....
I'm trying to change the ringer mode of the phone to RINGER_MODE_SILENT when a call is incoming by using the following lines of code.

While the phone stops ringing it continue to vibrate although the documentation of RINGER_MODE_SILENT says it should also stop vibrating.
I'm using the SDK 1.6
UPDATE:
As I didn't find a solution yet, I tried to deactivate the vibration settings manually.
am.setVibrateSetting(AudioManager.VIBRATE_TYPE_RINGER, AudioManager.VIBRATE_SETTING_OFF );
But this also doesn't prevent the phone form vibrating when a call is incoming.
UPDATE 2:
Today I tried to solve the problem by canceling the vibration via a Vibration object.
Vibrator vib = (Vibrator) getSystemService(Context.VIBRATOR_SERVICE);
vib.cancel();
Again, without success. Now I'm running out of ideas and asking myself if it is possible to stop the vibration at all.
UPDATE 3:
I've discovered another interesting fact when I've reread the documentation of the Vibrator class. The documentation says:
"If your process exits, any vibration
you started with will stop."
My battery keeps on over heating when i charge it. My battery started acting funny this week when i plugged it in to the charger and it would charge stop charge stop continuous. Should i take it up to Verizon and see what they say.

I deleted a few albums off my memory stick and added a couple, and it still shows the old album, (unable to play, says 'audio player does not support files of this type' or something like that) and it doesn't show the new music I put on there. I've restarted my device about 4 times, tried closing/reopening the music app.. I don't know what to do to clear this up. I'm running 2.1 (via WhiteWidow/Root if that matters) and music has never given me a problem before. The other music apps have the same problem, none of them seem to refresh.

I go to respond to a text, or search the Internet..And the keyboard shows the flashing line as if to type, But it wont type. I will randomly enter letters and the spell check box still pops up. I restart it, or remove the battery but once i turn it back on and try typing again and still same issue. Then 5 min later it works. Its random. Annoying. And Ideas what could cause it? or fix it?

It used to send just blank texts to the first one or two or three people in my messages, but now it sends full texts that I sent from before by itself. I deleted all my undelivered texts. I found it's easier to type when it's off for me, especially when typing long messages. Not that I don't like it, because I do. But when I'm typing something long, it's just really annoying IMO.
