My screen has recently stopped vibrating when I touch it. It will happen as I am typing a text message. sometimes it will begin the vibrating again before I finish the message, sometimes I will play on the phone for a few minutes before it randomly comes back.

My Eris recently stopped getting 3G (or even 1x) service. When I try turning mobile network on it takes a long time like its searching then says it is on but when you go into "about phone" and look at mobile network it says it is not connected and there is no 3G or 1x display in the status bar. I am currently at school in the bay area and it worked for the first few days I was here, not sure exactly when it stopped cuz I mostly use wireless but noticed it when I wanted to do something off wireless. Pretty sure it is not a coverage issue because my friend with a moto droid gets 3G and it is almost as fast as his wireless connection at full bars. Also now I cant send or receive MMS due to this (apparently cant transmit over WiFi or voice signal), making my smart phone less useful than a dumb phone.
View 21 Replies View RelatedI recently rooted my revo and never really done a lot to it but uninstalled a lot of bloatware that I had found in these forums as being safe to remove. My problem is that the other night I went to download a new runner game and noticed that it wouldn't work, just sound no screen. So I tried to play Temple Run 2 which had worked previously, now it no longer would play. Naught no longer played either, I just then downloaded several of the 100 series games and they won't play as well. What I may have uninstalled that is causing this to happen and how I can fix it?
View 8 Replies View Relatedi got a brand new S3 In december 2013 , i dropped it an it broke ( both touch and LCD ) I got them replaced by a authorized service . It worked fine 2 months , Two days ago some problem appeared, Touch screen stopped working propperly , it worked only for short periods of time. Now if i press really hard on the right hand corner (Above the return arrow) it works Perfectly ( as long as i keep my finger there) but sometimes it works fine after reboot but in the end it stops (No signs of cracks or damage) , i had CM11. What i've done until now :
-Deleted CM11 and added 4.1.2
-Took it appart and checked the ribbon ( fine)
-Hard reset
- Dummy file generator
Everything works on it buttons ,Before the freezing screen flashes a bit .
I have flashed my x10a with flashtool and x10_2.3_aro_2.ftf firmware. But after the flashing is finished, my phone screen touch is not working. What can I do now? I am unable to install xrecovery to install another rom bcoz screen touch isn't working. So I can't install any custom ROM.

I reset and noticed that there was no vibrate on start up. Once booted, still not vibrate - but then suddenly it all came back. I'm so confused.
D inc stopped vibrating on text notifacation...whether it's on loud or vibrat...nothing. Haptic still vibrates when pushing buttons or typing...This phone already was named a doa because of a blown speaker after a week of gettin it and now my screen is also cracked....How do I go about gettin a replacement with paying full retail and also will the replacement have an amoled or lcd.

I tried restoring it to see if certain apps maybe causing it but that is not the issue. Restored still same problem. it happens about every 5 minutes.
View 16 Replies View RelatedI had Swype, all was good. Then it started freezing my screen, or misguiding the touch to the point that removing the battery was the only option. It was not a phone issue, because I factory reset and it works now. I had to because disabling Swype did not solve the problem. Is there any beta or anything out there?I CAN'T GO BACK TO TOUCH INPUT!

So I've noticed that everytime I get a text or email or anything to make my phone vibrate, while laying flat, it rotates the screen to landscape automatically. I never had this problem before the update, now I have this issue. Anyone else experiencing this?

My gmail password is right and it still won't sign me in.it take a whole minute to call anyone on my phone list, I miss calls, when I go to answer my phone after two rings it ends call. And last but not least, my assigned ring tones don't play for my contacts, it only plays the default. I have tried everything. I'm wondering if i should take it to Verizon and get a new one.

View 4 Replies View RelatedJust a quick question about the Captivate. I just got myself an HTC Aria and I love how easy it is to use the touch screen on it. Its extremely responsive. Now my sister has the SamSung Instinct on Sprint and the touch screen is horrible compared to HTCs touch on the Aria. Im thinking about taking the HTC back to AT&T and getting the Samsung Captivate. I am just worried about the touch screen on it and if it will be like the Instincts? If the touch is as good as HTCs Ill get it. If its not, then Ill stick with the Aria because despite its size, its an extremely fun and responsive phone. Any thoughts?

Google Maps & Latitude, Youtube, the Market will not load properly and will either give error messages or won't load at all. Gmail, Voice, Gtalk and the web still work. I have did a couple reboots, pulled the battery, cleared the cache and nothing has helped. Any suggestions short of a factory restore or the Verizon store?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI bought a new droid for $20 haha lucky i think until i notice that the touch screen only works for the middle of the screen to the left so if yu cut the screen into thirds only the middle and left work assuming that yu cut it from top to bottom with the lights at the bottom for the home button etc. I opened it up cleaned all the flex cable with alcohol and waited for it to dry and it still does the same thing so my question is = do i need a new digitizer or is it a software problem or something that i dont even know?

I have been in the Application Manager stopping and clearing various services and apps I don't use. Obviously I have not done that to email, but are there any apps or services in there that affect email? I'm wondering if I messed something up by going too far parring down the device of stuff I don't use, or if this has happened to somebody else with an Eris and it's a bug.

I've seen this brought up in different forums but I have yet to see any answers. I'm wondering If anyone is currently or has recently had this same problem if so how did you fix it? Or is it still going on.
Also I've made sure that I do have notifications set to sound, they just don't, it just vibrates. I've even thought that I wasn't giving the phone enough time to sound but after seeing the trackball light up i let it sit to see if it will eventually sound and it never does.
Hello has anybody else had this happen to them it has happened to me twice now. And think I know hoe it happens be both times it has happened it has been connected to my pc when I power it off and then back on Please help
