if and when eris gets the update for the 2.0 or 2.1 or what ever we get,would upgrading to a 16gig micro sd be a good idea or wont it mater?if so would all we have to do is swap everything from the 8 gig to the 16 gig on the computer then put the 16 gig in the phone and be good to go?

The music UI is choppy as can be, borderline unplayable at times, the lag is really bad. I've read other posts about faster cards improving performance on the player, but none really elaborating on the music playback.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have just bought this phone..x10 mini pro and cant figure out how to change the micro sd card as I have one with larger memory, I have found in the settings menue a feature to unmount the card but how do you actually get it out of the phone? there are no buttons or anything and when it has unmounted it is in the exact same place.I noticed that it re-mounts itself which was handy but I would like to change disk?

I couldn't figure out how to save files (games, apps) from the browser, play now, market etc. to the micro SD. All it does is download everything to the phone memory and it is getting full now (got tiny harddisk icon on top left screen). Couldn't find any solution in the User's guide - Short version.

View 3 Replies View RelatedMost of the specs for tablets which have a micro SD media slot do not give any details about it. I'm generally wondering if a slot labelled "microSD" will accept a micro SDHC card (as opposed to a micro SD card). I know, for example, that some older memory card readers won't read the SDHC cards, even if they have an SD slot. I'm not sure about the tablets however.
Example of some of the tablets that I'd be interested in knowing this about are: Acer Iconia A700 or A210, and Toshiba Excite.
I bought an Eris for my son, but he didn't have a GMail account setup so we setup mine, now he has one and we want to switch but I can not figure out how this is done, if you can help I would appreciate it.

Is there a way to get rid of the HTC slide down lock screen and use the default android lock screen that you slide to the side. View 5 Replies View RelatedI just got the eris a couple weeks ago, and then the trackball died so verizon sent me a new one. Now on the new phone when I try to change my homescreen wallpaper, it always wants to zoom in on the image. I'm not sure how to explain it, but it will let me use the full width, but not the full length while looking at the phone with the buttons on the bottom. So I have an image that is 320x480, and it wants to crop it down to 200x200 for example. It zooms in and makes it a square, instead of a rectangle like the screen is. I just want the wallpaper to be what it looks like when the image first opens from the photo album app. But as soon as I try to make it a wallpaper it wants to zoom in and make the photo look dumb.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo i just got off the phone with a customer service rep from Verizon and was telling them about my issues because i'm on my 3rd replacement phone, and the 3rd one that just got sent out today is even worser then the ones i had to have replace, i told the rep that i wanted a new model phone, and all they could tell me was that well we'll have to just replace it with the same model, and if you're wanting to get a new model phone you would have to pay for it.How are some of you members getting the Moto Droid without any charges?? View 9 Replies View RelatedI recently did a hard reset of my phone and it really cleaned things up and made things run faster (and I got rid of a bunch of apps I never really used.) I did notice that the calendar functions differently now. I used to be able to call up an individual day and see scheduled appointments, then I could swipe left or right on that day to go to the next day or previous day. You still can scroll through time that way in the full month display by swiping up and down but that functionality seems to be gone now for day views. Anyone else notice that change?

Well I found a new pic I want to make my wallpaper so I go to albums find the picture hit set as home wallpaper and change it, but when it says it was set as my wallpaper I go to look and its still the default one i set awhile ago.
