when I first got the phone I changed my wall paper to a picture I had taken, I got sick of that pic so I just made it one of the defualt wallpapers that come on the phone. Well I found a new pic I want to make my wallpaper so I go to albums find the picture hit set as home wallpaper and change it, but when it says it was set as my wallpaper I go to look and its still the default one i set awhile ago.

I just got the eris a couple weeks ago, and then the trackball died so verizon sent me a new one. Now on the new phone when I try to change my homescreen wallpaper, it always wants to zoom in on the image. I'm not sure how to explain it, but it will let me use the full width, but not the full length while looking at the phone with the buttons on the bottom. So I have an image that is 320x480, and it wants to crop it down to 200x200 for example. It zooms in and makes it a square, instead of a rectangle like the screen is. I just want the wallpaper to be what it looks like when the image first opens from the photo album app. But as soon as I try to make it a wallpaper it wants to zoom in and make the photo look dumb.

Whenever I use my facebook widget or handcent quick reply, as i'm typing with the virual portrait mode keyboard once I reach a certain amount of characters my screen flashes and one of the default wallpapers that comes with the droid replaces my LWP. Why is it doing this? Once i finish the message I can go back and change the wallpaper, but it's really annoying how it changes by itself

View 4 Replies View RelatedThis bug just spontaneously arose. Every time I select a new wallpaper it loops back to the gallery. The problem does not occur when I pick one of the Droid pre-loaded wallpapers. Not sure if this is a coincidence, but I just installed sweeter home beta 2.
Update. I removed the 2.1 gallyey app and it fixed the problem
I know I've changed my lockscreen wallpaper before but for some reason now when I go back to try and change it again it won't work.Let me rephrase that.I start at my homescreen, hit my menu button, select wallpaper, select lockscreen, and instead of giving me an option to use a pre-saved wallpaper or a photo from my album, it just drops me immediately into my photo album..

Here is the problem i want to set the whole picture as the wallpaper but when you set as on the eris a box pops up the picture and you have to adjust it. I don't want that I want the whole dam picture. Are you guys having trouble. We know that with the OTA we won't be getting live wallpapers, so for the people that want them I say we should try to port it over to the Eris. I saw a TV commercial with an android phone (not sure which carrier) but as the person scrolled thru the 7 screens, there was a different background image/wallpaper on each of them. It definitely was HTC Sense UI that I saw in the commercial.
If not, is there an app that can do this?
Perhaps this has been addressed previously, but i haven't found an answer yet. every picture i put up on my lockscreen wallpaper gets cut off by that stupid lock bar with the clock on it. does anyone know how to make that go away or transparent at least? it is driving me crazy and i haven't "found an app for that" yet.

Every time I have it kill my tasks it takes me to the HTC screen (the one that appears during start-up) and then "please wait" appears with my wallpaper in the background. I went to the wallpaper thread to take their pictures. i used the pits penguin for example. it was perfect. it made me crop it so i couldn't even get the entire logo, then when i set it it blew it up huge and gross.
