May 18, 2010Hope you guys can help. Since the 2.1 update I have certain apps which appear to be opening in the background when I didn't open them. I have Advanced Task Killer, and when I go in for example it shows Messages running, when I kill it, it will reappear in 30 secs or so, the same with MP3 store. Can these apps be stopped so they don't take up memory or what's the deal here. Thanks for any help.

Jan 15, 2010My Eris has some apps that have stopped working. Google Maps & Latitude, Youtube, the Market will not load properly and will either give error messages or won't load at all. Gmail, Voice, Gtalk and the web still work. I have did a couple reboots, pulled the battery, cleared the cache and nothing has helped. Any suggestions short of a factory restore or the Verizon store?

Aug 20, 2013I have an Asus MeMo Pad HD7 and I have alot of Game Apps from Google Play installed on the Tablet's Internal onboard storage and I'm starting to run out of storage space. I know you can't install Game Apps directly to an external SD Card but can the Games be moved to the SD Card from the Tablet's on board storage so I can free up storage space then later on move the Game Apps from the SD Card back to the Tablet's onboard storage? May 22, 2010I have a square grid, for a turn based game ( grid is similar to the chess board ), but the moves in the games are different based on whether you have lapped your opponent pawn at least once or not.i.e if you have not lapped (beaten any of the opponents pawns) in the outer most grid as below.if you have lapped your opponent pawn once at least, then you get to reach home,this way.Any player having all his pawns reaching "home" first wins.The ones in yellow are safe-houses, i.e both the opponent pawn and the player's pawn get to stay in the same grid, this is not considered to be lapping ( the opponent ).The lapped pawn will return to its start point.Now the question is, what is the effective way to store the paths for the all the pawns.we will have 4 pawns for the player and 4 opponent pawns.Is there any pattern to store such static information, in a elegant way?

Nov 12, 2010I have a puzzle game with a 7x7 grid of graphics, and a timer, its just about ready to go. But I am stuck on how to go about saving/continuing game. For example when someone exits I want them to be able to save and exit, then come back and click continue to pick up where they left off with all of the graphics in the right place, timer and score. I looked at onSaveInstanceState android examples, but not sure if this is what I need or how to implement it in my case.

I went to install my apps and my purchased apps aren't listed in My Downloads.According to the help for Market I should perform a factory reset. Jul 20, 2010I don't think that this was an issue prior to receiving the OTA update earlier this morning, but when I display 'All Programs' there are multiple entries for several programs including Bubble, MySettings, Paper Toss and ShopSavvy. Has anyone else experienced this? Nothing looks unusual (e.g., duplicate entries) when I go to 'Manage Applications'. I just cannot figure out how to get rid of the duplicate program icons.
