Jun 24, 2010If a word doc is an attachment to an email, how do I view it? I see the attachment is there, but don't know how to open it for viewing.

HTC Droid Eris :: Word List Not Popping Up / When Double Click On Word?
Feb 26, 2010I am loving swype, especially since I only have one arm (the others in a cast). Is anyone else having issues with the word list not popping up when you double click on a word? This has never worked for me. I have the newest version.

On laptop: Mobipocket, Caliber, MSWord
There's a vast amount of material in MSWord format that I wish to read on my Eris. I can save a file as .txt and put it on my SD card using Astro, etc., but Quickoffice and Tulip are the only readers able to read those files - and both are otherwise inadequate. I've never passed the Caliber IQ test. It seems to convert to epub, but none of those readers ever see the result.

Nov 10, 2009Can anyone give advise on the best way to store Word and PDF (or any file for that matter) on the phone. I'd like to be able to have a folder with files I can access and email.I suppose I could put the files on a Gmail and then forward. i'm hoping there is an easier solution.

Jan 20, 2010I have had the Droid since the day it was released and have had absolutely no problems with the battery up till now. I can still make it through a full day without having to charge it. But now it seems like something funny is going on. About a week or two back i had charged my phone over night(like i always do) a few hours later it alerted me that the battery was low and that i should plug it in(hadnt used my phone at all yet that day). I thought that was a little strange so i rebooted it, once it restarted i checked my battery and it was at 90%, i figured the phone just read the battery wrong for some reason and moved on. But today my phone randomly shut off and i had to do a battery pull to get it to come back on, i have read that the battery pull issue has happened to a few people so far so i didnt think much of it, but this combined with the false low battery reading makes me wonder if there is something wrong with my phone. Has anyone else had a false battery reading and if so did you need to replace you Droid?

I have 2 concerns - One, not sure if I'll keep this phone and not exchange it. I've already exchanged 2 times for defects. Hope this one's a keeper, but I'm scared due to 2 exchanges. 2nd concern is I'd like the most cost affective software.

Also, the green/amber light doesn't come on when I'm charging my phone.
