"Letter Rip" from the makers of Word Up. Pretty cool. Letters slowly appear on a grid and you have to make words from them by moving them around the grid, then swiping the word. As more letters get on the grid, it makes it tougher to move the letters around until the whole grid is filled, then you can make words like Word Up until there is room to move letters again. Once the grid is full, you get no more letters, except for a few given to you at the top of the screen to mix in.Work fast!

I just released Word Warz yesterday on the android market. Still looking for some valuable feedback! Tell me what your think about my first application.
Game Description:
Word Warz is a competitive spelling game. In the game players take turns adding letters to a board to spell a word. However, you don't want to be the last person to spell the word, because you will be out of the round. The strategy in the game centers around picking the letters at critical points that will force other players to spell a word. Also, a player can bluff by adding a letters that don't spell a word, and risk being called out by the next player. If a player calls a bluff, and the previous player was bluffing they are removed from the round. If the previous player wasn't bluffing the player that called the bluff is removed from the round. The last man standing during each round receives a point. The first player to 7 points wins the game.
Right now the game supports four offline human players, and 3 different computer players. The demo supports 2 players(either 2 human players or a human player versus chubs(the easy computer player)

I am loving swype, especially since I only have one arm (the others in a cast). Is anyone else having issues with the word list not popping up when you double click on a word? This has never worked for me. I have the newest version.

Improve your logic and skill with new Switch2Positive game. There is no better way then killing your time intelligently!Moving, you click on the cell and it's changing from one condition to another (from negative to positive) thus changing all four other cells, which are around (left, right, below and above the key). The game goal is to make all cells in the field "positive". Making all cells positive you will be a winner!

I figured I'd let you guys know about my new game (and first released game so far on the android!)
It's called "Space Run" and it's a puzzle game. The idea is to keep the astronaut running for as long as possible by rotating the pieces to create a path. More advanced rules can be read about in the "How to Play" option. I've released a trial aswell as the full version, so try out the trial and see what say think. Just search for Space Run from the android market.

I've been working on a new kind of math puzzle game only for Android. Try it out and tell me what you think! NumNom (Free!) - Android app on AppBrain. The game is all about making sets of numbers that add up to "the target" (changes depending on the game # -- like freecell). I suck at any kind of graphic design, so sorry there are no "magical sparkly's"! I still think the game is really fun, and most of my friends (who are cool enough to use Android) seem to love it.Let me know what you think! I'd love to hear real feedback from people I don't already know. Oh, and if you have questions about Android development or selling apps on the market, ask away.

Am I the only one who's astounded and upset that our lovely OS hasn't received a single puzzle quest game, or even the same type of game? This seems like it would be the perfect casual fit, and also help the cravings of us RPG lovers. I've scoured the interwebs looking for answers on even notification of a port, but my search has amassed no answers.

I have been developing an Android game in the evenings for the past 6 weeks or so. It has finally got to the point where I am happy putting it on the market.. It would be great to get some downloads and feedback! The game is similar to match-3 style games with a hint of pacman and tetris There are now two game modes in the game, 'classic' and 'drop'. In the first your aim is to stop the timer going down by popping and eating fish. In drop, fish fall from the top and you must keep eating to stop the screen from filling! You can check it out (video etc) at.

I have a puzzle game with a 7x7 grid of graphics, and a timer, its just about ready to go. But I am stuck on how to go about saving/continuing game. For example when someone exits I want them to be able to save and exit, then come back and click continue to pick up where they left off with all of the graphics in the right place, timer and score. I looked at onSaveInstanceState android examples, but not sure if this is what I need or how to implement it in my case.

Using the stock keyboard, how can I get the word "it's" as a selection? It's amazing it's not there, so I have to manually put in the apostrophe. The capital version (It's) is there, but not lower case.I've clicked on the "+" sign and added the word, but it still doesn't show up as a choice. Any ideas?

What is the quickliest way to convert a word doc into an Android app?
Basically, I want to sell a long article on the app store. The user will see the content of an long article when he/she opens the app.Is there any premade program to do so? A program to convert a web page/blog into an app may also work because word docs can be saved as htmls or post onto blogs.

I will hopefully be getting my Evo in a few days (supposed to have arrived today, but it's been backlogged )When I do, I'm downloading the Keypro and syncing it with a Freedom Pro folding bluetooth keyboard. I just got word that the Evo, the app, and the keyboard work together flawlessly! So, what word processing app should I chose to use with my Evo? I'm planning on blogging, writing emails, short stories, and yes... even working on a novel or two. I'm hoping to replace my laptop for any writing I do out of the house with my beautifully Evo. Ideally, I'd like to be able to save files on my phone and later transfer them to my computer and also upload them to google docs (depending on what I am writing/doing). I'd like a built in dictionary/spell check and thesaurus. Programmable shortcut keys would also be a wishlist feature. So what do you guys all recommend? Oh, and I'm not concerned about the cost. I'm willing to pay for a quality product.

My mind has just been blown. I consider myself a fairly careful and exploratory user of most things, and Android is no exception - I'd like to think of knowing most its functions, and when people make posts in this forum, I do tend to already know them. But no - my mind was just blown with something so simply that I'm sure i'm behind the curve here. It always annoyed me how difficult it was to add a word to the dictionary for prediciton? Or, not difficult, but time consuming, going into the settings, text and locale, diction, add. The other day I had a moment of brilliance when I realised that long-holding the text box after typing in a word brought up the option (right at the bottom of the list) to add it to the dictionary. This was faster, but still a bit annoying because it took a second to load the dictionary, then you had to click "Add" again. I just realised, however, that if you long-hold a word itself in the text entry box, it just adds it. It comes up saying "saved" and bam, it's done.

I have been trying to get my EditText box to word wrap, but can't seem to do it.I have deal with much more complicated issues while developing Android applications, and this seems like it should be a straight-forward process. However, the issue remains, and I have a large text box that is only allowing me to enter text on one line, continuing straight across, scrolling horizontally as I enter text.

Is it against Google's rules to use the word "Android" in a developer name?I'm leaning towards no.While it is the name of the OS, Google didn't invent the word. For example, could I make my developer name "bobTheAndroid"?(I'm asking before I make my developer account so I don't somehow lose my $25)

I've got a dictionary.com app on my phone, cant remember if I downloaded it or if it came with the phone and as such not sure if everyone has it or not. Basically it gives me a widget which I had on my 7th homescreen that gives me a 'word of the day' each day which I quite liked. Since I upgraded to Froyo, the widget isn't working, it keeps force closing but the main app itself works.
