Is there a way to access the list of all the words that were added to the keyboard's prediction in the phone? I have accidently added many words that I spelled incorrectly and need to remove them. How do I do this?

I am loving swype, especially since I only have one arm (the others in a cast). Is anyone else having issues with the word list not popping up when you double click on a word? This has never worked for me. I have the newest version.
View 7 Replies View RelatedIs word prediction suppose to work everytime yo use the keyboard? Seems like mine only works with some of the applications. For example I do not get word prediciton when I enter text on the browser but it does work when i use the Handcent SMS application.
View 9 Replies View RelatedAt some point early on in my SF ownership, I accidentally pushed something that gave me a keyboard and word prediction that I like SO MUCH more than the little black box word prediction with Swype. I didn't download a 3rd party keyboard or anything. Problem is, I've somehow hit something again that has brought the black box popup word prediction and a different keyboard back. I've messed with every combination I can think of in Language and Keyboard, but can't seem to get the other keyboard back.
The keyboard I currently have is the one that has the letters and symbols on the same key. The one I like has just the letters on the keys and a symbol button to push to get just the symbols. The word recognition I want has a bar right about where you type that gives you suggestions and you can touch the suggestion you want and it will insert (it has the most likely suggestion in red, I think).
I make so many more typing mistakes with the black box prediction/current keyboard. Can someone tell me how to get the other way back?
Anyone have a problem with prediction getting stuck in web browsers (default Browser and Dolphin)? When I try to enter a URL like "www.youtube.com" into the search/go form, the prediction will pop up and stop at "www." or sometimes "www.y" with no option for me to use the URL that I typed. So if I hit the Go button, I end up Google searching "www." since "www." isn't a valid URL.
View 7 Replies View Relatedwhat exactly does the Spell Correction feature do? I realized today that I had it disabled all this time. I tried typing with Spell Correction enabled but haven't noticed any difference. The user manual explains the settings like this:
Prediction Select to enable the word prediction feature which provides a list of possible words that reflect the characters of the keys you have tapped as well as characters of nearby keys.
Spell correction Select to correct typographical errors by selecting from a list of possible words that reflect the characters of the keys you have tapped as well as characters
of nearby keys. ...but the keyboard seems to me to function exactly the same with or without spell correction enabled.
I was wondering if there is a way to reset this because I have entered some words incorrectly and wanted to get rid of them. Hope someone can help because the other ones I've seen open for this has had no reply.

just got my eris the other day and liking it a lot. one question i have is there a benefit when you add contacts to use either google or phone as the setting. from what i see google backs up on the gmail contacts and the phone does not. is this correct. any other things. is there a way to have it list by the last name first instead of first?

So i am looking for a student planner or any kind of planner app that i can write things i have to do. Such as "work on essay", "volunteer at 4", "golf", " go to orientation", "work out this day" etc. I dont need anything to sync with anything i just want something simple to use where i can delete and re add things i need to do.
the voice comman feature of the eris is pretty interesting. long press the green call button to bring it up, here are some suggested commands that came built into the my touch some work, some dont, if you try one let us know if it works or not.i do know that you can say "open (app name)" and it will open any app on your phone, it's pretty good, even got bonsai blast.

It seems to pull in all my Google contacts not just my My Contacts but All Contacts (any one I have ever replied to) and all of my Facebook contacts, home numbers, I mean everyone. Every day there are new apps, but most importantly there are always a new list of their featured apps.My question is why for the last few months have we been starring at the same featured apps from android? These include Reality browser, personal assistant, hoccer, google goggles, wordpress, cnet scan and shop, ustream, usaa mobile, zagat, car locator, movies, handcent sms.I could be totally wrong, but it just feels like I've seen these apps all to many times. Is it my phone? Also I wish there was a way to view top-downloaded apps for the day or week.I feel like any new android apps don't have the ability to reach popularity because there is not system for most popular downloads. When you sort through, they're all the same...facebook, myspace, backgrounds, yellow pages etc. etc. etc.

View 19 Replies View RelatedEver since the OTA update, my contacts have been a mess. Before the update, I had the people I put in my contacts and they were linked to Facebook so their photos would show. They were the only ones that would show up in my call list when I went to the Phone app. However now, although my contacts are still just the people I had listed, whenever I go to my Phone app I'm left with a list of every Facebook friend I have. This is especially annoying when I have to see people with numbers like "ask me" or even people I just don't ever want to call. Also, in my contacts, now e-mails and numbers from people's Facebooks are also posted, and I just want the ones I entered in my phone to show up. Can anyone help me get back to the way my contacts used to be?
