Dec 6, 2009Is there a way or program available to synch up with a Mac?I use BB desktop manager to do this with my BB but I cannot figure out how to do this with my Wife's Eris.

Feb 9, 2010Password: 000000 I don't take responsibility for what happens to your phone when doing this nor do I know what half of this does. There are many different changeable fields and I REALLY don't recommend changing any. I wish I could just to play around but I don't want to fight Verizon again for a new phone.

Feb 10, 2010My phone "eris" was in my back pocket for about an hour as I was Food shopping. When I took it out It would not come out of Lock screen / sleep state. The Only thing that brought it back to life was taking the battery out and replacing it several times. I did not Sit on the phone or bump it in anyway that might have caused this. Also, when I put it in my pocket, the screen was already locked. This has happened about 4 times in the last week and the phone is just past the 30 day window for a return. On a side note, I recently installed Beautiful Widgets Version 2.85 and have noticed the phone will not go to sleep. I even unchecked the notifications option and chose all the different weather refresh settings, but it still would not sleep. Is this a bug or just the way the program works? By the way, When I say sleep I don't mean clicking the "End" button and locking the screen, But the internal phone "awake time" as found under phone status.

Is there anything out there that will let me sync at least the calendar and contacts both ways via USB that does not involve using gmail? HTC Droid Eris :: HTC Eris / Microsoft Outlook Active Sync
Feb 16, 2010I've searched the forums and looked at the Sticky above, but it doesn't seem to answer the question. We have one staff member here that bought a Droid Eris (Verizon) and unlike the Motorola Droid, I can't get this phone setup via Active Sync to our exchange server. I setup his account on my phone (M Droid) and it worked perfectly...messages, contacts and calendar all synced up fine. I go back to his Eris, and it says the account cannot be created at this time. All the settings are the same etc., so I'm a little stumped. I called Verizon and they said to wait for the new 2.0 upgrade that's supposed to be coming, but they weren't sure if that had been addressed or not. Am I missing something, or does the HTC Droid Eris not fully work with Active Sync with MS Exchange 2003?

I was interested in finding a good program with which to sync play lists, music, pictures, movies, etc. As it turns out, Media GO works really well. I have been using it as my default music player for some time now because of the "Sense Me" play list option. I'm still pretty new here and I hadn't seen anything posted regarding this program and it's INC compatibility.

Nov 20, 2010HTC Desire PC Sync issues. PC & Desire connect when Sync initiated from either the phone or desktop icon. PC Sync will display my phone setting and information but it will not sync. The Sync button in Green in the top right hand corner of the Sync program does not respond to mouse click.
Have installed HTC Sync 3.0, uninstalled, reinstalled it - from the HTC website, removed other old mobile applications ie Nokia. I have changed the USB ports etc etc. It has worked once, when I first installed the software and not since then. Also I have USB debugging activated and the phone defaulted connection type: HTC SYNC. Help please as this issue has been active now since I got the Desire 3 weeks ago.

Jan 1, 2010Has anyone been able to sync their Eris in Vista? I have yet to get HTC Sync to even see my phone. The only way I know that I can even see it is by doing a USB mount to copy files over to the MicroSD. I did some Googling and it looks like others are having the same problem. Just wondering if anyone found a work around. I have yet to try it on one of my XP machines.

Jan 9, 2010So I added a few contacts on Google today, and noticed that they hadn't gone to my phone, I checked in Settings>Data Synchronization>Google and noticed that Contacts were actively syncing that moment. So I waited. Contacts continued to sync for twenty minutes, so I turned the phone off, took the battery out, put it back in, and the contacts still just keep syncing but never finish. However, no real data is being transferred, I suppose it's somehow stuck, but can't figure it out. Workaround? Fix?
