Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: No Permissions To Uninstall / Equalizer Settings Not Accessible
Oct 1, 2010I am extremely happy with my X10i, and yesterday I received and installed the latest update with no problems; however, I have a few questions:
1) Why is it that you do not give us "permission" to uninstall things such as the Moxier suite and PlayNow (which is unavailable to us in the USA) without us having to resort to the extreme of rooting?
2) Why is it that you do not give us access to equalizer settings? Again, only through rooting, can we get access to this. (note: the 3rd party apps in Android store are all junk) Would it be that difficult to add an equalizer in MediaScape?
3) Why is it that Skype comes preinstalled on the X1, but not on the X10? I'm on the T-Mobile network, and here in the USA, Skype for Android is only available to those on the Verizon network. I am forced to use Nimbuzz (which is a great application by-the-way), but it would be nice to have the actual Skype application that is available on the X1. If you got "permission" to preinstall it on the X1, I would assume you can do the same with the X10.
I truly believe that the X10 is an "iCrap" killer; however, if the little things I mention above were to be addressed, in my opinion, this would make a lot of X10 users happy, and make the X10 truly an IPhone killer in the eyes of others.

Sep 1, 2010Question, when we listen to music on our X10's through the "External Speaker (That puny little thing)" are we listening to 5.1 or something else. When we are listening to the same music via headphones (Hard wire connected), are we listening to 5.1 or something else.
I ask this, because most phones will only play 5.1 with a headset on, but they will state that. Within the last month, I used the Captivate and it stated it only played 5.1 through a headset.
So, what is the quality of the music we are listening to?

Sep 30, 2010Hi there, I have a Xperia X10 mini, the problem I have is: I set a song from my music libery as a signal for the sms (text messaging) when I recieve one. When I recieve a message and open the message to read it, the music signal tune won't stop and it's keep on going on and on and on, there is no way to stop it.

However, when I connect my phone to media go and select the song that has album art missing, it show the album art in media-go program normally. I wonder is there a way to fix this problem? Oct 29, 2010How do i delete the playlists that i create in my xperia x10 mini. I can't seem to delete them. I created a few playlists then used the media go app to delete them. But when i disconnected the phone from my computer the playlists were still present. I believe that playlists aren't stored on the sdcard. Can someone help me to delete these playlists. And can the SE team give a fix in the mediaGo software so that it is able to display the playlists that aren't there on sdcard and allow me to modify or delete them.
