Oct 27, 2010Car phone warehouse kindly transferred my phone numbers from my old sim card to my new Desire phone. I have now noticed that they all say that they are mobile numbers yet this is not the case. What if anything can I do to remedy the situation? Can I remove the 'M' tag from them?

Mar 19, 2014Id like to transfer the trackid app history from my xperia mini pro to my moto g.
Ive tried it with titanium backup, but the app crashes on load using the moto g.
I've googled this to death and cant find much.
The app on my xperia was built in to the phone and seems to be developed by gracenote.
There is a Sony version on play store which is virtually the same but updated and slicker looking.
Ideally I'd like to use the new app, using the history from the old app, but have read the databases are incompatible.
I've looked for the file that holds the history but cant find anything.
As a last resort, I'll start again with the new app, but would like to extract the history from the old trackid on my xperia and save as a text file. I dont really want to have to type /write down the list manually!

Nov 23, 2010I installed the bluetooth file transfer app from the market and it worked fine for a couple of goes, then my 6 yr old got hold of my phone and i am not sure if he altered some sort of setting and it is now not sending out files (it says on the recieving phone, - connection dropped- ) it is also now not connecting to other phones.

May 17, 2010So I just upgrading from a blackberry pearl to the HTC Eris. The Eris came equipped with an 8GB SD card. When i had my blackberry I was using a 2GB SD card. So i took out the 8GB out of the Eris and put in the 2GB to save pics (That kinna stuff.) I didn't take it out and switch for my 8GB. I still have in the 2GB and I want to switch to the 8GB . My Question is, if I switch what will happen to my apps, my contacts, etc. Will i still be able to transfer them to my 8GB?

Nov 19, 2010I just switched from a Nokia N95 to an HTC Desire on Android 2.1 (Froyo isn't out in the Middle East yet I guess). I'm having a lot of trouble getting my contacts on to the Desire. On setting up the phone, it has pulled my contacts from Gmail & Facebook, which I don't really need. I will not be calling or mailing most of the people on that list. There are a 1000+ contacts on those lists and I don't need all of them on my contact list. I tried to use the Nokia Ovi Suite to sync contacts, but for some reason I was not able to transfer them onto the PC. So I copied them all onto the SIM card and then put the SIM into the Desire and exported them to the phone memory.
The problem is that on copying them onto the SIM on the N95, I have multiple entries on the list. For contacts with more than 1 number under them, there are separate entries for each number, with the same name. Is there a method to group them the same way they were earlier i.e. One contact entry with a Home, Mobile, & Business number? Do let me know. It will hugely helpful. The only other way I can think of is to sit and enter all the numbers manually!

I can make and receive calls via hands-free car kit but only part of my phone book contacts transferred to the car (only contacts from A to N in my case) When I deleted on the phone all contacts from letter N, contacts from letter M appeared on the car display. I called T-Mobile and Samsung - no help. Support from Samsung told me to find at android market Bluetooth Profile for Phone book Access but I can't find it. If anybody have the same problem or have a knowledge how to fix it.
