I took the micro sd out of my old blackberry storm 2 and it was a 16gb, so i loaded it on my mac and erased all the files, and its still showing only 9.26gbs available?

View 17 Replies View RelatedI tried formatting my 16gb micro sd card for my new Incredible and when formatting was complete my card says I only have 1.83gb of total space on the card. I tried downloading the sd card formatting tool from Home - SD Association hoping it would fix the problem but it doesnt. I tried formatting by syncing my phone to my dell laptop and by the card reader on my laptop and still no solution.

View 8 Replies View Relatedlast week before getting the incredible i had 2 extra micro sd cards laying around. Today i have 4. Of course i got the free 2gb sd card with the phone, its still in the package. And today when i went to the verizon store to buy a car charger and the red and black gradient case they gave me a 4gb micro sd for free! So now i have 2 extra micro sd's that i didn't have last week. Not too bad. So for those who didn't know i guess verizon has a deal going on now where if you buy a car charger and case you get a free 4gb micro sd memory card. I"m not sure how much they retail for but its got to be at least worth $10-15. The case and the charger came to $50 + change. Just a heads up for those that need these accessories.
View 2 Replies View RelatedFrom what I was told, the Inc supports 32gb microsd card. So I ordered a Sandisk one...class 4. I got it and tested it out. It seems like it can transfer/read small files....but anything big it wouldn't read properly. It's funny cuz a movie file would transfer and play...but if I delete it and transfer the same exact file over, it wouldn't play. Or if I transfer music, some files play and some wouldnt. And some even would merge into one file. Like one song would play and then all sudden another song would POP up like what a DJ does when they mix songs together.
I know I might have a defected one but this is a legit Sandisk card. So what else could be the problem? Should I transfer the file one or slower so the card can read it....is there a way or procedure to using a 32gb MicroSd card? Lol. I mean I have a 16gb right now and it reads and transfers fine. With the 16gb I can literally drag a folder of 10 movies and it would be fine.
I have the HTC EVO 4G with a 16GB memory card inserted. I am almost out of space with my audio books etc so I was thinking of upgrading to a 32GB memory card. What is the best way to use the 32GB card with all the content currently on the 16GB card. Would using my CPU to hold the 16GB's data then copying to the 32GB card work?

I plan to get some sort of micro sdhc storage for my phone. I was all set on getting a 16gb class 6 card and am still kind of leaning that way. But I noticed that I can get 3 of the 8gb class 6 microsdhc cards for the same price. What would you do? I mean it certainly is more convenient to just be able to leave the one card in the phone and not worry about it but is it worth the extra 8gb of space to switch them in and out and keep track of the tiny little things?
By the manual, eris only support up to 16gb of sd card. Does anyone try to use 32gb? - I fount the answer.... It was a really dumb question and I found similar post.... Actually, I want to delete this post but I don't know how to do.

So to cut things short, is it possible to take a Micro Sim card from AT&T put it in a adapter and put it in say, a nexus one or captivate? What id do is take the no-contract pre-paid data plan of the iPad 3G, most likely the 200MB/month for $15 and use Google Voice and other various VoIP clients to use as phone and GV for texts. I pretty much have WiFi where ever I go and pretty decent AT&T 3G in my area. Yes I know, it's just not that simple. Id have to change the APN on the device to att's broadband. Tweak a heck out the phone. 1.) Is it possible? Ive seen it done for a data only iPhone 2.) It is legal right?
